THE WAIT IS OVER !
WE ARE RE-OPENING MONDAY 17th AUGUST 2020
This is the first step back to playing squash. The courts will reopen for single practice and for the playing of ' sides'.
Please familiarise yourself with the general rules of sides on the England Squash website. Whilst you are on the website please also read all the England Squash / Government guidelines on how to return to playing and how and what to do when inside of the club.
You will notice on our booking system that the court times have been staggered, this is deliberate as at the moment squash is not a social event and we are trying to stop too many people gathering outside of the courts.
IF YOU FEEL UNWELL- PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE CLUB
IF YOU DISPLAYING ANY OF THE SYMPTOMS OF COVID 19 - PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE CLUB.
Please only arrive max 5 minutes before your court time.
Arrive and leave in the clothes you wish to play in as the changing rooms and showers are closed.
All kit to stay with you on court.
Bring your own water in a bottle.
Hand sanitiser is provided - use it.
Disinfectant wipes are provided- use them to clean any touched surfaces, i.e. Booking screen, door handles, walls etc.
PLEASE NOTE :- WE HAVE TO BE SCRUPULOUS WITH KEEPING THE SQUASH AREA CLEAN AND SANITISED, WE DO NOT HAVE STAFF TO CLEAN FOR US.
Spot checks will occur to make sure everyone is adhering to the guidelines, if the guidelines are broken it may bring about the closure of the courts.
The use of tokens is considered unhygienic, so we are setting up an online payment scheme. Until this is introduced the court lights will run for free.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TIME YOU ARE ON COURT. PLAYERS SHOULD NOT BE WAITING OR ASKING YOU TO LEAVE THE COURT. PLEASE ONLY PLAY FOR ONE SESSION, EVEN IF NOBODY IS DUE TO PLAY AFTER YOU.
