Great night for an evening race, sunshine, warm and even an ~90% eclipse of the sun to keep us entertained ! Unfortunately the period of the eclipse seemed to take the wind with it, there was a breeze before and there was a breeze afterwards but during the race nothing. After 50 mins of racing the lead boat had got halfway to the third mark !!!!

Great afternoon watching Day 1 of the SailGP event at Portsmouth. Mixed results for Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team but a good win in the last race of the day for them sent the crowd home happy !
Good view from the shore but a little out range for phone to get good pictures, we shall have a look at the pictures on the proper cameras when we get home !
