for Season 2023/24.
Thank you to Carolyn for organising the fixtures and to the members who played.👏🏻
Hopefully we can have another great season next season .

And don’t forget we have an end of season skittles night at the Frog and Wicket pub Friday 31st May.

Hi Aloes members
Here is the team and match reports for March below 👇

The Mens 6 after suffering a big 7-2 away defeat against Nomads bounced back with a close 5-4 win at home to Newcomers.Well done to Steve and his team .🍻

There was another close match in the mixed 6 .
Carolyn and her team had some very close games away to Nomads .
The match finished 4-5 to the home side unfortunately in this very tricky league 2 .
Great effort team 🥂

The ladies 4s unfortunately lost 0-3 to S.H.B.A away 🥲
The Mens 4 managed to guarantee their place in division 2 next season with a 3-0 win at home against the Eagles.
Well done to Ants team 🍻

Hi Aloes club members and all.
Here is the latest results and match reports for our teams below.👇

Aloes ladies 4s
Started February with a fantastic 0-3 victory away to SHB b.
Well done to Amy and her team 🥂
Aloes mixed 6
After a great and close match win at home to Nomads ,Carolyn’s team unfortunately lost to a very strong Hawley b team .
Aloes Mens 6
Managed to keep their winning streak up with a great but close away match win at Eagles.Well done to Steve and his team 🍻
Hopefully they can cement second place in division 3 this Tuesday away to Nomads.🤞🏻
Aloes Mens 4
Started their second half of the season with a rearranged match away to Eagles.
Just one change to the team that beat Bourne in their last match.
S.Panigrahi in for J Bay.
The match started very well for Aloes
Winning the first 3 games.
Eagles then won the next game and 2 near the end ,but Aloes held strong to pull off a great 0-3 away victory.
Well done to Ants team 🍻

Hi Aloes members
Here is your latest match reports for the second and last half of the season.

The Aloes mixed 6 started off 2024 with two very close matches .
First they played Yateley Family followed by Three of Clubs .
The team only lost by a single point to both.
Unfortunately it didn’t go to plan when the team played away to the Three of Clubs.
The 8-1 score line didn’t reflect the match itself because there was some very close games that night.
The next match the team got back into winning ways with a 5-4 victory over Nomads at home.
Well done to Carolyn and her team.
The Ladies 4 played Christchurch away and picked up a valuable point in a very close match.
The Mens 6 continued their run of winning form with a convincing 7-2 victory at home to Tongham C.
Well done to Steve and his team.

Hi Aloes Members
We had a great evening at the Christmas Club night.
With funny badminton games ,mouth watering cakes ,chocolates and much more.😍
So a big thank you to Carolyn for organising everything and everyone👏
I must mention Brian for his festive outfit and his Christmas light show over him.It was a great idea and definitely a contender for best dressed if we had one.🤩
But everyone played their part with Christmas jumpers and other festive outfits.
So well done to the members that took part Tuesday night .👏🥂


And now for your final match report for the 2023 half of the season

Aloes mens 6 continued their great winning run of form with another away victory to Tongham C with vice captain Ant 🐜.
Some games were very close in points and at times went to a third decided rubber.
The match finished 3-6 to Aloes which has lifted them one more place higher to second in division 3 and with only 3 points that separates them from the leaders Three of Clubs B.

So this has been a great effort from all the teams in the 2023 half of the season.🙂

Teams and match reports below 🏸

The mens 6 team followed up their win against Nomads with a convincing 1-8 victory away to Newcomers on Wednesday .
This result puts the 6s into 3rd place in division 3 and just 1 point behind the second place team. Next match for the 6s is an away match this Wednesday to Tongham C start time 7.30pm. Well done to Steve and his team.🥂
The ladies 4s,after a great run of wins, had their first unfortunate loss of the season against Reading & Country ladies. Good luck to the ladies in 2024 🥂
As a reminder it’s the Christmas badminton club night Tuesday .

Hi Aloes members
Here is another team report below.🏸

The mens 4 continued their great home form with another win against a difficult Bourne side .
Ants team had one change to the team that played S.H.B. B with new member S Panigrahi .
The match had some very close games which ended with a significant 20 point deficit and a 2-1 victory to Aloes .💪🏻
Well done to both teams for playing with good spirit and fairly.🙂🥂
It was a win for Aloes that lifts the team one place to third in division 2 and wraps up 2023 part of the season.🥳

After a couple disappointing results in division 2 the Mens 4 team recorded their first win of the season with a fantastic 3-0 win against S.H.B B at home.
It was a great effort from my players with some difficult games too.
Thank you team.🥂

I thought I would give you all another update on the latest team’s matches.
The ladies 4s continued their run of good form against S.H.B B when they recorded another 3-0 win at Home .Fantastic ladies 🥂
The mixed 6 had a brilliant first win of the season at home against the Bourne to kickstart their season .
Well done to Carolyn’s team.🥂
Unfortunately the mens 4 suffered another loss 3 -0 away to Hawley.

Unfortunately the mens 4s first match didn’t start well.
The match finished 0-3 to the Bourne🥲.
The mens 6 bounced back after loosing the first match with a convincing 7-2 win at home to the Nomads.

The first match of the ladies 4s 2023/24 season started with a great 3-0 win in A.C.D. League against Christchurch .
Well done ladies 🥂
Unfortunately the mens 6 first match started with a loss 🙁
But on the plus side there was some close games in the 3-6 defeat.💪🏻
