We are asking for feedback on a scheme to improve local road, cycle and walking facilities covering North Yate.

Funding for the project is being taken from the construction of the Ladden Garden Village and Peg Hill developments to help ease congestion and boost options for travel - however you choose to get around.

These are the four specific planned improvements:
• improvements on Goose Green Way to ease traffic and congestion
• road safety improvements on Eastfield Drive
• improvements to make it easier and safer to walk or cycle to Brimsham Green school and Yate town centre
• investigate putting in signals at Southfield Way/Wickwar Road to improve safety and ease delays for drivers

There will be a drop in event at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, BS37 7LB, on Monday 14 September between 3.30pm and 6.30pm to talk to officers and find out more.
