Look at that for a before and after! 😍😍

Productive day yesterday getting the young horse fronts installed in the barn so we can feed ad-lib hay whilst limiting waste.

The bottom barn also had some new dividing gates installed, getting ready for winter to take barn liveries from youngstock to retirees 🐎

It’s tiring being this cute 💤 Great to see Delly is now fully integrated into the foal gang ❤️

Feeding time at the zoo 😝

A few springs of willow for a bit of afternoon enrichment for the mares and foals. Badger has been amazing since being weaned, no signs of stress or worry at all. Him and Swallow are attached at the hip ❤️

Well that couldn’t have gone any better if we had tried!

Today is weaning day for Badger. He had a shot of Coligone this morning to help protect his tummy if he got stressed and a distraction of hay and feed with his pals whilst Sugar was loaded onto the lorry off on her holidays. One whinny and that was it, what a chilled little guy 😎

Welcoming Ettie and Delly owned by Hanstead Equestrian to the mare and foal herd. Delly is a stunning filly by Diarado who needs no introduction 😍 Delly will stay with us over winter on youngstock livery once she’s weaned, alongside Badger and Swallow.

They have settled in very well and enjoying the recent grass growth thanks to the rain!

A very content, sleepy Lulu after her exercise this afternoon.

The recent rain and good grass cover has made the ground feel great in our grass jumping paddock. She’s not quite jumping yet but feeling great on the flat. Coming back into work as though she’s never had a day off!

When you’re lying in bed listening to the rain hammering down and the foals are turned out. Going to get them in whilst in your PJs and the only coat you can find at 11:45pm is the only thing to do 😝 🌧️
