Finding The Gym - Social Life Balance ⚖️
I can’t be the only one who has struggled to find that happy medium between having fun & partying with friends….. aaaand trying to get fit and healthy!
Striking the right balance is an important part of our everyday life, but it can be hard.
One thing you’ve got to think of is this, ‘Why are you doing what you’re doing?’
Why do you train?
Why do you spend every weekend getting drunk to be hungover for 3 days to follow?
Why do you binge eat?
Why do you feel the need to constantly be ‘dieting’?
Is what you’re choosing to do sustainable? Are your current actions a reflection of how you want the rest of your life to look?
If you’re anything like me, you love a cocktail a and meal out with friends… then why stop?!
Everyone’s balance is different. Mine is limiting this to occasions, rather than every weekend, as it massively effects my training.
Finding a ‘balance’ is not about cutting out things you enjoy. To be balanced in life is to live a life with purpose but also one packed with happiness & experiences 💫
