Wythenshawe Weightlifting Club would like to pay their respects to David Briggs. A lifting legend who represented Great Britain at countless international powerlifting championships. He held multiple European and World W.D.F.P.F records in Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift and Total.
Dave ran South Wythenshawe Youth Club for over twenty years, introducing many into both powerlifting and olympic lifting.
May he rest in peace.
