Being in this industry sometimes doesn’t feel like work.. having the skills to put on a class like this is so rewarding for me let alone the Friday crew.

Just seeing each and everyone tuen up ready to go, excited to be here and train (hard) really makes this special.

Delivering professional coaching to a high level too, isn’t easy for them, but we break it down and they have adapted so well. I couldn’t ask for a better group. They are dedicated and listening. Their bodies are responding!

All the notes on the video are just some of the words fed back to me from the players and the parents ..

If you would like your young players to get involved, get in touch!

Suggs Gym Youth Strength & Conditioning Programme runs on Friday evenings 5-6pm at our unique private specialised gym in Wymondham!

Here at Suggs Gym, it’s all about the quality.

Evidence-led physiotherapy grounded in objective performance data, using professional sport-grade assessment tools and software to move beyond subjective judgement and into measurable, trackable rehabilitation outcomes.

Myos & Motus Physiotherapy offers just that! Here’s what Jack has to say!

Hi I’m Jack, founder and Physiotherapist @ Myos and Motus. I obtained 2:1 BSc in Physiotherapy from Bournemouth University in July 2025, and have been running my business since finishing.

I have completed additional courses including Level 4 Sports Massage (May 2025), Myofascial Cupping (January 2026) and am booked to complete a Dry needling/acupuncture course in June.

My background in football and strength training provides practical insight into the demands of sport and exercise, which I integrate with clinical reasoning to guide effective, performance-focused rehabilitation.

Give him a follow and keep your eyes peeled for the launch day with free treatment and advice!

We’re excited to officially welcome Jack from Myo & Motus into our brand new physio and treatment space.

This is a big step forward for what we’re building here — not just a gym, but a place where performance, recovery, and long-term health all come together under one roof.

Jack brings a wealth of experience in physiotherapy and soft tissue work, and his approach fits exactly with what we stand for: practical, results-driven treatment that actually helps you move and feel better.

To kick things off, Jack is offering an exclusive 20-minute “once over” session completely free for members and clients.
It’s a chance to:

* Identify any niggles or underlying issues
* Get a professional opinion on movement or pain
* Understand what’s holding you back (even if you’ve been ignoring it…)

No pressure, no obligation — just a solid starting point.

Whether you’re dealing with an injury, tightness, or just want to stay ahead of problems, this is a great opportunity to get seen early.

Spaces will go quickly, so if you want in, grab a slot and come see what the new space is all about.

Give this message a like, comment YES to take advantage of this great offer and we will DM you !!
Remember to follow Suggs Gym & Jack at Myos so we can DM you.

Suggs Strength & Conditioning - 7-16 years !!

50% Sold Out. Head to our link in bio to book!!

Our Youth Strength & Conditioning programme is designed to develop the fundamental physical qualities that underpin long-term athletic performance.

Across the block, athletes will be coached through structured sessions targeting movement competency, coordination, and neuromuscular control, while progressively introducing age-appropriate strength development, acceleration mechanics, and multidirectional speed.

Sessions focus on building robust movement patterns through carefully selected exercises that enhance relative strength, dynamic stability, rate of force development, and proprioceptive awareness. By integrating elements of plyometrics, resisted sprinting, core stability and athletic movement drills, we aim to improve power production, injury resilience, and overall physical literacy.

Whether your child plays sport competitively or simply wants to move better and become stronger, this programme provides a high-quality coaching environment that supports long-term athletic development while keeping training engaging, challenging, and fun.

Most people find it difficult to maintain a 7:15 pace for a single mile. Aleksandr Sorokin, however, achieved an extraordinary feat by holding this pace for an astonishing 198.6 miles without a single rest during a gruelling 24-hour battle. This remarkable performance now stands as one of the greatest endurance feats in human history. It wasn’t just a fast run; it was a physiological anomaly that left sports scientists scrambling for explanations.

The record was set in 2021 in Poland. Sorokin ran lap after lap with almost robotic consistency, his splits remaining remarkably stable and his stride unbroken. For nearly an entire day, he battled weather changes energy crashes dehydration and the mental turmoil that arises when the brain attempts to shut down the body long before the finish line. Yet he persevered, maintaining a pace that would be considered solid training for most runners but transcended into superhuman levels when multiplied by 198 miles.

What makes this achievement even more astonishing is Sorokin’s background. He wasn’t a childhood prodigy or a lifelong endurance specialist. He took up running in his 30s after struggling with his weight and developing unhealthy habits. Gradually, he rebuilt himself losing over 70 pounds entering small races and discovering a level of mental toughness he never knew he possessed.

Researchers who studied his performance found his efficiency fuel management and pacing discipline were almost flawless. His heart rate remained remarkably stable, his carbohydrate intake was precisely timed and his stride mechanics barely degraded despite thousands of foot strikes.

By the final hour, his legs were exhausted fatigue was overwhelming and his body begged for rest. However Sorokin wasn’t running for comfort. He was driven by a belief he had cultivated through years of hardship: that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary feats through discipline and obsession.

When he finally crossed the finish line, he didn’t celebrate. Instead he collapsed exhausted and drained having pushed the human body to a level few have ever witnessed.

You will never know what you can do until you push through barriers !!
