We're disappointed to inform you that BJA Eastern Area have had to cancel the John Dearden memorial judo competition at Thetford on 10th May 2026 😡
Wymondham Judo Club are looking at options to host a randori session that date instead, so that those people who were intending to compete can get some judo practice that day anyway.

Huge thank you to Sen Ryu Judo Club for looking after us again this evening while our usual hall floor at Hingham Judo is still out of action! I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. 🥋🙏

We've just been informed that the hall floor at Hingham will still not be usable for our classes tomorrow evening, so judo at Hingham tomorrow, Monday 30th March, is cancelled! Sorry.

☆☆☆ Reminder ☆☆☆
This evenings classes (Monday 23rd March) are not running at Hingham Judo due to refurbishment work on the hall floor. Instead we are visiting Sen Ryu Judo Club at Bullock Park, Shipdham. Kids class 7 til 8pm. Adults class starts same time 7pm but goes on til 8.30pm.

Wymondham Judo Club are celebrating International Women's Day a little later
on
Saturday 28th March.
We are incredibly proud to announce a special female‑only masterclass featuring two world‑class GB athletes:
Jemima Yeates‑Brown — GB Olympian, IJF World Tour Medalist, Commonwealth Games Medalist
Lucy Renshall — GB Olympian, Former World Number 1, IJF World Tour Gold Medalist
This exclusive event will take place at our Hingham venue and is open to all female judokas.

10.30-12.00 - girls up to 15 yrs

12.00-12.30 - Meet/Greet/Photos/Raffle Draw

13.00-15.00 - Woman's 16 yes +
