Very light airs, not toooo cold hahaha and the sun was hiding, but a great weekend to be on the water.
We also had a great photographer this weekend, thank you Alice.

Remember, we now have a newer fleet boat if you want to do some Star sailing.

On what would have been Bart’s 42nd birthday, wherever you are in the world, make sure to raise a glass today in honour of the big man.

Bart was not only a devoted husband and father, but a fiercely competitive sportsman who still had time to be kind to and encourage everyone around him. He is the inspiration behind what we do and his legacy lives on.

Remembering Bart.

Today we remember Andrew “Bart” Simpson who we tragically lost 12 years ago, at the age of 36.

We lost a true legend in Andrew, one of sailing’s most loved and inspiring figures. His passion, talent, and generosity left a mark on everyone who knew him, with his incredible ability to get the best out of people, helping others fulfil their dreams.

His legacy lives on through the ASF, where opportunities to access the water are provided to so many. Young people are given the chance to transform their lives through sailing, regardless of their circumstance.
