13 of our athletes made their way to Cambridge this morning to compete in the Rob McClean Junior Triathlon. As usual, they all performed brilliantly and also as usual we have a few podium finishers 💪🏻

Congratulations to Jude and Ari who are our latest Jack Petchey award recipients 🎉

One of our coaches compiled a 6 week swimming program for the athletes and she was really impressed with both Jude and Ari’s work and progress in that time. They increasingly took on responsibility & accountability for their own training and they also both showed great determination and effort in all sessions. The qualities they shown - pushing themselves, having consistently positive attitudes, answering questions & being great members of the team made them stand out and be worthy recipients of the award.

A bit of an Endurance weekend for some of the Adult section.
Simon, Matt and Graeme took part in the Suffolk Backyard ultra. Running just over 4 mile laps on the hour every hour till they drop!! All managed over 50 miles with Graeme finally throwing in the towel at 17 laps and 70 miles. Hat's off to you guys.

Rosie headed off to Poland for the Warsaw half Ironman and Jacek headed up to Bolton for a Half Ironman there.

So well done all a Great weekend 👏🏼

It’s National Volunteers Week so we just thought we would recognise all our volunteers, coaches and committee members.
We are a 100% volunteer run club. Week in week out our volunteer coaches develop plans and train our athletes with committee members and parents turning out to help. On top of that the whole club comes together to run our annual event which has won multiple awards.
We would just like to say a massive THANK YOU to you all, the club would not be what it is without each and everyone of you 💚🖤

What a FABULOUS day we had at the East Essex Tri Club Triathlon.

We had a brilliant turnout with 19 athletes racing across all 4 categories, I think this might be a club record for this event!

4 of our female athletes made the long journey up to Stradbroke this morning to take part in the Stradbroke Junior Aquathlon.

It was so lovely to see the girls supporting each other and even more lovely to see that all 4 of them had a podium finish 💪🏻
