I am so excited to begin the new term at little Goblins in Thursday. We will be celebrating ST David’s day by cooking Welsh cakes over the fire, enjoying dragon themed crafts and games alongside stories, songs, balancing, climbing… if you fancy joining us, or have any questions then please do get in touch. Spring is on its way. In-between the rain, birds are singing, the temperature is increasing and the sun even made (a very brief!) appearance yesterday!

Why not celebrate the changing season by joining little Goblins after the half term break.

This term we will be making Welsh cakes and embracing our inner dragons, searching for signs of spring, cooking wild garlic bread, searching for signs of spring, getting creative with paints and chalks, going on an Easter egg hunt, listening to stories, playing games, singing songs, swinging in hammocks, planting seeds and so much more. We meet on Thursdays 10-11.30. Our site is flat, has a private carpark, toilets and running water. Please do get in touch to book your space 😎 [email protected]

Happy blue Monday! January has felt particularly wet, cold and dark this year. We have the antidote to the winter blues. Come and embrace the season with the little goblins, no matter the weather we get outside, play, create, sing, smile and have a lot of fun. There’s a covered space for story time, a carpark, toilets and if we need a break from the rain a yurt which can be filled with puzzles, teddies and more. We meet on Thursday mornings 10-11.30, a single session is £8.50, a 5 week term is £35. Fully funded spaces available for any families who might find the cost prohibitive. We have so much fun at little Goblins on a Thursday morning. From playing in the mud kitchen, learning to make our own swings and then spending time swinging on them, relaxing in hammocks, getting creative with paint, chalk, playdough.., to balancing accross logs, playing games, searching for bugs, building dens, listening to stories, singing songs, lighting campfires and so much more, every week is different and supports the EYFS framework. It’s such a lovely group of parents, grandparents, friends and children. We would love you to join us, and have funded spaces available, thanks to family learning at N Somerset council, for anyone who lives in North Somerset and might benefit. You don’t need to be claiming benefits or out of work..we understand small children are expensive (!) and if a funded space means you’ve got a little left over at the end of the month to put towards a coat that actually keeps you dry on the school run..or just makes things a little easier then please do just ask.

Dreaming of a quiet afternoon…come and join little Goblins forest school on Thursday mornings. 10am-11.30am. Closest postcode BS40 5PP. It may only be 90 minutes, but we do SO much that a nap is almost guaranteed! Funded and paid spaces available

Little Goblins is back for the Autumn term. Come and join us on Thursday mornings as we play, explore, get creative, light campfires, listen to stories, sing, learn and make friends. This term we will be exploring colour and making our own paints, cooking up an autumn feast, making potions and wands, learning to tie knots and make our own ladders and swings, zipping down the zip wire, balancing on the slack lines, trying out (plastic!) archery and axe throwing, searching for minibeasts, creating habitats for the dinosaurs and teddies, and so much more.
We meet at the Goblin Combe lodge - closest postcode BS40 5PP- 10am-11.30. The term is 6 weeks and costs £42. PAYG spaces available at £8.50 per week. Funded spaces are available for any families living in North Somerset who may find paying the fees a struggle (funded spaces are not available for single sessions, only terms) If you would like a funded space, please do just ask, you absolutely will not be taking a space from anyone else. As the academic year draws to a close and I take a moment to reflect. What a year it has been..from jam(blackberries and apples) and soap (conkers and ivy) making in the autumn, celebrating bonfire night, designing, blasting, timing (and even doing some trigonometry) air and water powered rockets, Christmas, divali and all things snake for Chinese new year in the winter, Easter egg hunts, blind fold trails, wild garlic, world book day, foraging in the spring and drumming, hammocks, nettles, bracelets, archery and ropes in the summer. Schools, adults, intervention projects, nurseries, birthday parties….

It’s been so full of fun, laughter, epic rain, super cold and mega heat. Thanks to everyone who has come along and made Goblin Combe Adventures their own.

Last minute spaces available on the 5 week confidence building and personal development course at Goblin Combe Every Monday 10am-2pm starting on June 2nd. Learn about the woodland ecology and sample some of natures surprises growing in Goblin Combe. Try your hand at archery, learn knots, lashings, fire lighting techniques, enjoy guided walks and food cooked over the campfire. Meet new people, relax your mind and exercise your body. Open to all N Somerset adults aged 19+. This course is free/ low cost dependant upon personal circumstances. Please never worry about not being fit enough, or knowing enough, or being too old, or too young… this is a relaxed course where everyone is welcome and appreciated. The weather is looking lovely tomorrow. Why not come out to Hoblin Combe and enjoy a morning of dragon themed activities alongside a campfire, songs and marshmallows. We will make swords and shields, try our hands at archery, sneak up on a sleeping dragon, enjoy a picture trail, pin the tail on the dragon and get creative with some pictures.
