A huge congratulations to Jack Billington on his selection for Wales National Counties North and helping his side to a fantastic victory yesterday! 👏

Wales NC North secured an impressive 8-wicket win over the Royal Air Force Cricket Association Development XI, chasing down 167 with ease.

It's great to see Jack representing both Gwersyllt Park CC and Wales NC North on the representative stage. Everyone at the club is incredibly proud of your achievement and we look forward to following your progress throughout the campaign.

🏏 Congratulations Liam! 🔴⚫

Everyone at Gwersyllt Park Cricket Club would like to congratulate Liam Lynes on his selection for the Wales NC North U17s squad. 👏🏴

Liam will represent Wales NC North in their fixture against Shrewsbury School on Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th June at Shrewsbury School, with play starting at 11am.

This is a fantastic achievement and a reward for all of Liam's hard work, dedication and commitment to his cricket. We are incredibly proud to see another GPCC player earning representative honours and wish him every success in the match.

☀️🏏 Hot Weather Reminder for All Players & Parents 🔴⚫

With temperatures set to remain high over the coming days, the safety and wellbeing of all our players is our top priority.

Please help us ensure everyone is prepared for training sessions and matches by bringing plenty of water, applying sun cream, wearing a cap and suitable lightweight clothing, and seeking shade whenever possible.

💧 Stay hydrated
🧴 Apply sun cream regularly
🧢 Wear a cap or hat
🕶️ Wear sunglasses where appropriate
👕 Dress for the conditions

🏏 This Week at The Park! 🔴⚫

There's another busy week ahead at Gwersyllt Park CC with plenty of cricket, training and development across the club.

⭐ Highlights this week:
🏆 Monday – We're proud to host the Wrexham Schools Finals at the Park from 10am–2pm.
🏏 Friday – A full evening of junior, women's and All Stars training as players of all ages take to the field.
🏆 Sunday – Our 1st XI travel to Denbigh in the Welsh Cup looking to progress to the next round, while the 3rd XI and Women's team are also in action.

With junior fixtures throughout the week and senior cricket across the weekend, there's plenty happening at the Park. Come along and support the club! ❤️🖤
