🏏 SENIOR TEAMS WEEKEND ROUND-UP 🏏

A mixed weekend for our senior sides, with both teams putting in some brilliant individual performances! 👏❤️🖤

🏏 1st XI
A tough afternoon away at Mochdre Cricket Club, with Gwersyllt Park finishing on 113 all out as Mochdre reached 174 all out, taking the win by 61 runs.

Despite the result, a fantastic individual performance from Neil Pearson, who picked up 5 wickets and takes this week’s 1st XI Player of the Match award! 👏🏏

🏏 2nd XI
A brilliant win for the 2nds at The Park! 💪

Gwersyllt Park were bowled out for 94, before restricting Carmel & District Cricket Club to 78 all out to secure a 16-run victory! 🙌❤️🖤

A superb all-round performance from Ben Griffiths sees him named 2nd XI Player of the Match, scoring 37 runs and taking 3 wickets! 👏🏏

🏏 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY CELEBRATING INCLUSIVE CRICKET! ❤️💙💚

Despite a slightly wet start to the day, our Disability Cricket Festival 2026 turned out to be a fantastic afternoon, bringing together players, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters to celebrate cricket for all. 🏏

It was brilliant to see so many people enjoying the day, taking part and creating some fantastic memories both on and off the field.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the festival such a success, including all of the players, parents and families, coaches, volunteers and everyone who came along to support.

We were also incredibly grateful to welcome England player Sophie Ecclestone, along with support from Lindop Toyota and the ECB, helping us make the day even more special.

We are incredibly lucky as a club to be able to host days like these and are proud to continue creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy and be involved in the game we love. ❤️🏏

Then we finish the season with a huge weekend of fixtures! 🔥
