🏐 End of season 🏐

We’ve finished the Bloom Wrexham league this week, ending in 4th place in Division 1 and 2nd place in Division 2 — and we couldn’t be more proud!

You’ve had some competitive and at times very physical games but you’ve played your own game and you’ve never stopped giving it your all. You’ve fought for every ball, supported each other and learnt so much. So proud of you girls 💙

Now it’s time for the next challenge - a new league, new opponents and another opportunity to see just how far we can go!

Amazing team effort again this week ladies! You should all be so proud of yourselves ⭐👏🏽

In the first game, you kept things tight and consistent, connected your passes brilliantly, fed the ball into the D with confidence and demonstrated fantastic defensive pressure especially from both of the Sarahs 💪🏽

The second game was definitely a challenge but you still kept the pressure on, fought for every ball, never gave up and showed real determination right to the final whistle. It was a great game to watch! 👏🏽🔥

A special well done to Denise too for playing your first game since your accident — it was so lovely to have you back on court! 💙🏐

🏐 Meet our buddies 🏐

Following on from our post last week, we'd like to introduce you to our amazing Buddy Team – Sarah E, Laura E, Heidi, Beccy, Natalie, Rachel & Denise.

If you're joining us for your first session, one of these lovely ladies will be there to welcome you, partner up with you during warm up & drills and help introduce you to the rest of the team, so you'll never feel like you're on your own.

We introduced our buddy system because so many ladies tell us they'd love to come to training but feel nervous about arriving on their own or meeting new people—and we completely understand that. Taking that first step can be daunting, which is why we want every new player to feel supported from the moment they walk through the door.

At Wxm Dragons, we're about so much more than netball. We're a friendly, inclusive club where everyone is welcome, no matter your experience or ability. Whether you've never picked up a netball before or you're returning after years away, you'll always find a smile, plenty of encouragement and a great group of people waiting to welcome you.
