We are a target archery club based in wrexham, we run beginers course twice a year for anyone aged from 11 upwards
we shoot at St Christopher's school wrexham every weekend, why not drop us a line and start your amazing journey with archery and start enjoying the massive benefits archery has?

Wrexham Bowmen has been hosting a series of coaching courses , these courses are the first step into becoming an archery gb registered coach!

We had people attend from as far away as Malta and as young as 18.

It's a privilege to be part of the journey for these new coaches and we wish them well , we are sure they will develop into excellent coaches!

Congratulations to wrexham bowman Emily.

Emily recently joined us and has just completed 2 more agb progression awards and has achieved her 1st 252 at 20 yard award.

Rhona , the welsh archery society secretary and treasurer of north wales archery society kindly awarded emily her badges and certificates.

Well done emily, keep up the good work .

Well done to 4 of our newer members who attended the newbie shoot at assheton bowmen.

Not only did they all have a great day they also came home with some awards!
Our junior ambassador griff also gained a bowman 2nd class score !

Another 5 members have passed the AGB intro to archery course, most joined straight away and are looking forward to progressing the skills they have learnt.

Next course will be organised soon !

This is one of our junior archers, young griff joined us early this year with his dad.

At our AGM last week he won an award for the huge amount of effort he has put into his archery, he is always willing to learn new skills and is first to offer help when needed . His archery skills are constantly improving and he's hoping to enter his first competition soon.

Outstanding young man !

Last weekend 7 wrexham bowmen attended the competition at clwyd archers. A great time was had by all , clwyd archers did a great job of running the shoot. As usual we did bring home some medals too!

Excellence in Archery: Wrexham Bowmen's Journey to Success

Members from Wrexham Bowmen have participated in the North Wales Archery Academy, which was led by county coaches Huw and Rhys Harper.

During the sessions, archers learned numerous techniques to enhance their shooting abilities and prepare for competitions. They not only acquired knowledge about correct form and technique but also gained insights into the mental aspect of archery. Additionally, they dedicated time to shooting full rounds under competition rules, and their scores were recorded throughout the weeks.

Based on their cumulative scores, awards were granted at the conclusion of the academy.

Wrexham Bowmen excelled and received awards, with some members achieving the highest distinction, the Purple Award!

Wrexham Bowmen are breaking records!!

So far this year members from Wrexham bowmen have been breaking north wales archery society records whilst shooting at record status events across the country.

Paul Davies now holds the gents Double WA70 record

Rebecca Lopuc now holds the ladies western 40 record

Martha Harrison now holds the junior western 30 record

Bill Robertson now holds the gents western 50 record.

This Saturday will be our first open day, we will be doing a have a go event , this is suitable for all ages and abilities, it's £1 for 6 arrows, why not come and give it a go!

We will also have a tombola with some awesome prizes including a free beginers course that will be held later this year .
