Wrexham Amateur Athletics Club was founded in 1954, the year Roger Bannister broke the 4 minute mile. Over the years the club has grown from strength to strength, offering all manner of athletic disciplines whether this is on the track, field, race running or cross country. The club offers individuals a chance to improve their health and fitness and develop their talent, as well as meeting new peo
ple and trying something new. All training sessions are organised and delivered by fully trained coaches. These coaches can best develop talent and advise on both correct training programmes and competition schedules. Club training takes places every Tuesday and Thursday, between 6-8pm at the Queensway Stadium. Sessions and competitions are held to cater for all age groups, from U'11s through to Senior and Master athletes.
