Wrexham Tennis Centre is a Pay ‘n’ Play tennis facility open to all members of the public – there’s no membership or subscription required! From a modest start in 1990, with 3 indoor and 2 outdoor tennis courts, the Centre has grown to become one of the largest indoor Centre’s in the Great Britain. The building is owned by Wrexham County Borough Council, but run on its behalf by a charity (North W

ales Regional Tennis Centre Ltd: Charity Number 1144460). Various tennis activities for beginners through to aspiring professionals run each week, including junior and adult coaching courses, individual lessons and social group sessions.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open Day and gave tennis, padel and pickleball a try. The courts were full of energy, laughter and plenty of great shots 👏

It was fantastic to see so many families, juniors and adults getting involved, meeting our coaching team and discovering their passion for new activities!

☀️🎾 Heatwave Incoming at Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre 🎾☀️

With the hot weather set to continue tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week, we just wanted to let everyone know that all sessions are still going ahead as planned (excluding pickleball sessions), including our Tennis Camps and this week’s outdoor competitions! 🙌

We’re really looking forward to a busy and fun week on court, but we’d also like to encourage everyone to take extra care in the heat:

💧 Please bring plenty of water to stay hydrated
🧴 Sun cream is highly recommended
🧢 Hats, shade breaks and lightweight sportswear are a great idea too

Our padel courts are outdoors (with covered roofing and open airflow), so temperatures can still feel warm while playing. We completely understand things can get a little heated during matches 😅, but we’d kindly remind all players that shirts/tops must remain on while using the courts.

The wellbeing of all our players, juniors, spectators and staff is really important to us, and we appreciate everyone helping us keep the centre comfortable and family-friendly for all ❤️

Stay safe in the sunshine and we’ll see you on court! 🎾☀️

What a weekend at Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre for our first Grade 2 Padel Tournament 🎾🔥

A huge shoutout to our referee Tcherina for her first G2 tournament and for doing an amazing job with the organisation, alongside all of our fantastic centre staff 👏

Some incredible padel on display all day, huge congratulations to our Women’s Grade 2 Winners Georgia & Ceire, with Eliza & Eloise finishing as Runners Up 🏆

Massive well done as well to our Men’s Grade 2 Winners James & Mike, and Runners Up Enrique & Maniel 👏

And finally, a big thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event, we can’t wait for the next one! 🙌

From April 24th–26th, we were proud to host the Welsh Pickleball Nationals here at Wrexham Tennis & Padel Centre, and it did not disappoint!

A huge thank you to for organising such an incredible event, and to every single player who brought the energy, skill and sportsmanship across all categories — singles, doubles, mixed and wheelchair pickleball 👏

The level of play and community spirit was amazing to see. We loved being part of it.

We’ve taken your feedback on board and made some thoughtful changes to our café. With a new supplier, improved quality, fresh flavours and updated pricing, our new menu is designed to better suit everyone who visits the centre.

Whether you’re refuelling after a match, grabbing a coffee, or enjoying a bite while the kids are on court, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
