So why put Bob Holness' Blockbusters picture on here, form the 80s? I sometimes disagree that you shouldn't look back, that you should only look forwards. Yet, when I look back to my youthful teen days in the 80's I have some wonderful memories, none more so than watching some great tv shows and films (think A-team, Knight Rider, Only Fools & Horses, etc, then ET, Empire Strikes Back, Raiders, etc) and they all bring a smile back to my face. So if you're stuck for something to do today, have a browse either on your Firestick or on You Tube and enjoy some of your old favourites. It will change your mood, I guarantee it ;-) Have fun folks

Good Morning folks. I am back again. A lot going on in my life right now so I have to prioritise. However...what do I bring for you today? Ever heard of 'less is more'? Whatever you are planning to do each day, when you are faced with something a bit more challenging break it down into sections and make each section an achievable target. As you achieve, tick them off until you have completed all the tasks required. Sometimes we tend to think long term, but while there is nothing wrong with that, breaking it down into short term makes things easier and less stressful (more importantly).
So whatever you are planning to do today, think first, plan, break it down, prioritise, then move forwards.
Have a wonderful Bank Holiday Monday and I will see you all tomorrow :-)

When you focus on goals each day, as in what you need to do by the end of that day, tell yourself what you DO want to achieve and not what you DON'T want because our subconscious on what you tell it. So, if you're finding it hard to get fit because you want to lose weight and you're telling yourself 'I don't want to be fat' or 'I don't want to be 16 stones' then the mind will focus on 'fat' and '16 stones'. If you tell yourself, instead 'I want to be slim' or 'I want to be 13 stones' then the mind focuses on an image of you being 'slim' or '13 stones' which then moves you towards the goals chosen

So how can Drama techniques help?
I was trained in the fields of Acting & Singing in the late 80's as a teenager and every technique I ever learned made me realise how Drama/Art does imitate life because those techniques are, fundamentally, life skills from breathing techniques to help us focus and relax under pressure, to communication skills, building self-confidence/self-esteem, improvisation so as to cope better and develop alternative thinking strategies, expression, voice, independent thinking, empathy to better understand other people with whom we communicate, status, awareness, mindfulness, positivity, balance, physical wellbeing...the list is endless and so, through the coaching I offer you will experience a mix of both fitness techniques and drama-based techniques. It will provide you with many coping strategies and move you forwards while keeping you healthy both mentally and physically

Good Morning folks. You know, to be a great coach, you have to have endured good and bad experiences in life so you get a balanced approach to the way in which you work with your clients. I've experienced 2 years of unbelievable negatives in my life and am still having to go through a lot of stressful situations.
However, the one thing I can lay claim to is that I am somehow still here. I have gone through it and survived which means I have an inner strength to survive, where I didn't even realise. I have come to understand that it's the low points in life that make or break us and although the low points do make you feel you are lost, there is always a way out and it's only upwards.
So today I am telling you that no matter what you go through in life that you feel is negative (and that is your own take on it) know there is always a way and you will get there eventually. I know I will. So keep on fighting, keep on moving and know that it will all work out fine in the end :)
