Here’s how I work with my mindset & overstimulation ⬇️
1. Cut all caffeine, it’s a stimulant and was causing a rollercoaster effect to my concentration.
2. Prioritise most decision making tasks for the morning, I end up with decision fatigue by the end of the day and can’t think straight.
3. Minimise screen time, I can lose my mind on social media and end up with to many things influencing my thoughts and decisions for the day 😩
4. Notifications off on everything, I don’t need distractions or to be steered away from tasks.
5. Calendars, whiteboards, post it notes and lists. Better for my memory, and I engage better with physical objects rather than technology.
6. Eating well, sugar spikes or high hunger will not serve my cognitive function well ‼️
A lot of the challenges I face with my mind will never disappear, but I’ve learnt to work with them and not let them steer me away from being successful in my life.
Don’t get me wrong they had a hold over me for years when I was younger, but it’s my responsibility as I get older to improve myself and show up the best I can for myself, my life, my relationships and my business.
Do the inner work girls 👏🏼
