River Colnebrook River Colnebrook Fishing This river will require the quite angler who is willing to wait to be rewarded. All is subject to availability and venue rules.

Private fishing for a maximum of 4 anglers, the river holds some fantastic fish with the main targets being Barbel, Chub, Pike and Carp the river holds some fantastic silver fish with dace landed to 1lb 4oz. Option of boat hire and fishing a weir 300 yards up stream.

Barbel have been landed throughout the stretch up to 14.05lb. Barbel can easily be seen in the shallows and to be honest...

1 barbel landed last week, a chap landed a barbel of 13lb at 10pm so we are now doing a special for evening fishing. Due to the river being open to the elements the best opportunities are coming at night, what we have noticed is that all the bait we out in the day has disappeared by the morning, so there having it ! Fish from 4pm to 10.30pm for £10.00. Bookings only !!

3 lads fished today managed a few perch, chub and silver fish, they didnt hang around for the evening shift for the barbel tho !

Hi Everyone ! Just to let you know the Carp are now spawning in the shallows and and the chub & odd barbel are feeding in the usual spots which is great to watch, the river is looking fantastic with the w**d pushing through. We are still feeding the usual spots and will be ready for action during the new season, again to avoid dissapointment please book early. The boat will be off limits for the first few weeks of the season.

The season is nearly over and I can't wait for the spring, keep an eye out for us posting photos of the barbel and chub feeding !! Out baiting programme will Continue throughout the closed season.

The lads fishing today caught a jack pike, but no luck using big baits for the barbel and chub.

Just to let you all know that I managed to get a couple of hours trotting in and for the first time in a long time, I got into some fish ! The chub are now feeding I managed to bag 2 and lost 2 on very light gear.
