Shedders are supporting a fund raising event, to purchase a defibrillator which we hope, once the target funds are reached, it can be installed on the wall of Wraxall Village Club. Once installed, it intends to benefit everyone in the community and surrounding area, to access such a device if ever required. It can double your chances of survival of a cardiac and other cardiio/respiratory event. If you can donate, even a little, please follow the link and cause here

David Wiltshire was a talented guy. Among other things, he was the founder of a ukulele group called UKeBox who performed free to raise funds for local charities. Sadly David passed at the end of 2022

Nailsea Shedders will be running our first of several diy Saturday morning courses, for women only.

The courses will cover a wide range of topics, from tools, plumbing, and the first, will be Electrics.

This will be on Saturday 25th February, between 10.30am-1.00pm at Wraxall Village Club. Nailsea Shedders thank Wraxall Village Clubs Committee for allowing Shedders to put these courses on.

In a small group, 5 or 6 maximum, will involve an introduction to wiring circuits in the home including fuses, circuit breakers and consumer units, followed by hands on wiring of a household plug.

Spaces are limited but if you are interested, in please contact Steve Sayers on 07850 222322 or email: [email protected]

Refreshments will be provided. The courses will be free to attendees, paid for by Nailsea Shedders, a registered charity.

We would kindly ask for a donation to cover Nailsea Shedders costs, but it is up to you entirely, as we appreciate not everyone's circumstances are the same during these difficult times.

I've suggested a Traffic Filtering system along Bristol Road, Wraxall. The section between The Battle Axes, Wraxall Village Club and towards the Wraxall Village Primary School.

Where should the Council make more space for walking, wheeling & cycling, to encourage active travel and more transport choice? Add an idea, or upvote an existing idea.
