RMC GRAND FINALS 2024 🇮🇹

A roller coaster of a week completed at Sarno for the Grand Finals🎢.

As it was my first time driving in the DD2 class, we had no expectations heading into the event.

I adapted well and learnt the kart quickly, and I was consistently the top 3 in every practice session.

In qualifying a mistake cost me to be running at the front end of the field for my heats.

Nevertheless, I’ll take all the positives away from what was a great experience and opportunity and use them going forward for the future 💪

Grand Finale 💔

A very unfortunate end to our RMC Grand Finals with a DNF, due to the whole nose cone coming off the kart on the first lap of the Final after having made up 10 place by the first 4 corners.

Absolutely gutted to have ended our Grand Finals this way, but now a well deserved break is needed ready to re-energise for the 2025 season 🔋.

Pre-Final is done ✔️

Today we had the drivers parade, and then the Pre Final where I finished P8 from P15, Tomorrow I start the Final in P25. Still lots of work to do and I am ready for a comeback drive in the final 📈

Heats done and dusted at Sarno 💨

An up and down day completed at the Grand Finals 🎢, gaining 13 places over the 2 heats with 2 unfortunate nose cone penalties affecting our final finishing position.

The speed is definitely there, full push for the super-heat tomorrow afternoon where i start P28 ⚔️

Qualifying and heat 1 done! ✔️

A tricky qualifying session set us down in P20 after being top 3 in all the practice sessions yesterday.

However, a hard fought 1st heat saw me again 13 places to P7 with the second fastest lap ⏱️. Looking to keep this consistency throughout tomorrows heats 🔥
