A cracking start to the season for the Reserves as they came away 3-2 winners against league newcomers Great Oldbury.

After going a goal down early, the lads responded well as .hopkins.1 delivered the ball into the box to Ed Fuller, who found .erz to slot home.

Great Oldbury took the lead again early in the second half, but it did not dampen the lads’ spirit. The Kings soon bounced back with a reply, as a a well-taken Hopkins set piece found Harrison Brain to head home, bringing the scores level.

Minutes later, some more excellent play led to a third Kingswood goal, as Joseph Bryan’s quality through ball found Ben Summerfield bearing down on goal, who finished neatly past the keeper.

All in all, a fantastic performance from the lads and a deserved win to claim 3 points.

MOTM went to Ty Hopkins for his commanding performance in midfield.

The Ressies are back!

They kick off their 26/27 season TODAY as they travel to the newly formed Great Oldbury. The lads are excited to get back onto the pitch. It should be a great game.

A tough result yesterday against a strengthened Dursley Thirds side, but the lads fought extremely hard throughout.

After going behind early in the first half, the Kings were up against it but defended excellently and managed to go into the break only one goal down. In the second half the lads started brightly and managed to create a few chances on the break. However, Dursley soon found a second with a good strike from outside the box, and added a third shortly after.

A tough defeat to take, but the lads should be proud of their effort and work rate against a good quality opposition.

MOTM went to Harrison Brain for giving 110% at the heart of the defence, and never giving in.

We go again a week on Saturday!

Not quite performance the lads were hoping for on Saturday, but we managed to come away with a point against newly promoted Quedgeley Wanderers Reserves. Credit to the opposition who made it difficult for us throughout, but the lads battled hard and defended well.

Some clinical first-half finishing and an excellent worth ethic earned Harrison Jackson two goals and the MOTM award!

The lads go again on Wednesday evening where they take on Dursley Town 3rds!

After a solid start in the Firsts’ opening game, we go into the bank holiday weekend full of confidence as we host Quedgeley Wanderers Reserves on Saturday.

It’s the first game of the season for our opponents, but the lads will be looking to put the pressure on and come away with another big 3 points!

A fantastic way to start our league campaign, as the lads put in a complete performance against Barnwood Reserves and came away with all three points and a clean sheet.

Robert Bates opened the scoring from close range in a well-battled first half between the two sides. As the game progressed, the Kings began to exert more control, producing a number of good chances. Substitute Luis Wilson produced a sublime finish from just inside the box, and Harrison Jackson made it three when he slotted home from a through ball by Ben Summerfield.

MOTM went to Jack Neale, for dominating the midfield throughout.
