Wotton parkrun

We had a great morning at Wotton parkrun #425 today. Thank you to our brilliant volunteer team for stepping in to ensure that we could go ahead safely.

We saw 61 parkrunners run, jog and walk our course, including James Beattie, who was running his first ever parkrun. Welcome, James, and we hope to see you back soon. There were also 3 shiny new PBs. Well done to all!

A big well done also goes to junior Rosie H, who has completed her 10th 5km parkrun today, and earns her white milestone t-shirt. Congratulations, Rosie! 👏

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and see you all again for more fun next Saturday!

We had a fantastic, sunny morning in the PARC for Wotton parkrun yesterday. First of all, a huge shout out and thank you to our 16 wonderful volunteers. It was a very close call filling the roster this week, and your support is greatly appreciated. 👏

Now onto our 53 enthusiastic parkrunners, including visitors from Basingstoke, Cornwall, Gloucester and Bristol. We saw 11 shiny new PBs, and several participants completing their first ever parkrun. We hope you enjoyed it, and that we see you again soon!

Finally, congratulations go to Wotton local Chris Travis, who finished his 25th parkrun this week, celebrating it by achieving a new PB. Well done, Chris! 👏

See you all again for more fun next weekend!

We need a minimum of five more volunteers to be able to run this week’s Wotton parkrun safely. Can you help?

The weather forecast looks better for Saturday morning, and if you would like to join our merry band of volunteers, this is the perfect opportunity. Roles available include marshaling, barcode scanning and funnel managing. All roles are easy and full guidance will be given.
