Cheltenham Summer League
Over 50s/45s

With our manager AWOL in Spain topping up his tan and a number of other players on holiday we knew it would be a tough day but we managed a great day of results and I have to give credit the team who pulled it out of the bag

Wotton United 1-0
Wotton Ross 2-1
Wotton Bishops Cleeve 1-2
Wotton Monsoons 0-0

This put us in 4th in the league but 1 point separated 2nd 3rd and 4th so it was close at the top.
Then we went straight onto the cup games

Quarter finals
Wotton Ross 1-0

Semi final Wotton Quedegley 1-1
went to penalties great save Andy and 3 great goals Stenz Craig Chris

Final
Wotton Cheltenham 3-1

The Heat seems like a distant memory. These heroes turned up when it was 30 degrees at 8pm to play Clevedon in the 2nd Round of the WFA National Cup. Unfortunately a 3-2 loss saw us exit. 1 round further than last year, hopefully next year will see us progress further again.

The mighty Wotton 40s went away to Inkberrow today for our 2nd tournament. A tough day in the intense heat especially after a late drop out meant we went with no subs at all.

We came away Undefeated with 2 wins and 2 draws, Incredible results all round but unfortunately only good enough for runners up as Birmingham managed a draw and 3 wins.

Goals on the day from Pitcher (6), Cooper (4) and Stenz (2).

Huge thanks to @⁨Adrian Walking Football⁩ and @⁨Gary Atwill⁩ for stepping up and helping the 40s, they both played amazingly all day as well 👏👏👏
