There's no such thing as the right time.
Not the right time to start — "I'll start once I'm a bit fitter, I'll do it when I'm in better shape / when I've lost weight."
And not the right time to keep going either — "things are a lot right now, I'll pick it up again when things have settled down."
Both are the same trap. They treat fitness as something you fit in once everything else is in order, when it's actually one of the things that helps put everything else in order. Waiting to feel ready just delays the thing that would make you feel more ready.
Your body doesn't press pause on strength, mobility, energy while you're waiting for the right time. The "come back" is being made all the more difficult.
I know life gets hard. And busy. But "later, when things are better" is rarely a date that actually arrives — it's just how good intentions turn into months or years going by.
