Here’s your XI for tomorrow’s huge home clash in the 2nd Round of the Paul Baker T20 Trophy! 🏏

The lads are ready to give it everything as we look to book our place in the next round. We’d love to see plenty of support around the boundary to help create a great atmosphere. 👏

Congratulations to our very own Zak Khan, who scored a not out 50 for Sussex U11 on his debut against an Isle of Wight U12 team at Horsham on Bank Holiday Monday. He batted at no 3 and gave no chances. His parents Ali and Ellen were very proud as was his grandad!

🟢🟡DARTS TEAM🟢🟡

CHIPPS DARTS TEAM PLAY THEIR FIRST LEAGUE GAME.🎯

Chipps began their summer league Div 3 darts campaign with an 8-3 loss to the Castle B. Castle B definitely the best team in the division started off well with a 5-1 singles win. Pete Mansell claiming the only victory.

In the pairs it was 2-1 to the Castle with a brilliant performance from Riley Stafford and Jay Gillet to claim the win.

In the triples it was 1-1 Pete,Aaron Tugnutt and Jason Dows getting the victory.

Despite the result it was a great evening,good atmosphere.Five of the six in team had never played a league match so hats off to them and the belief that we actually can give a decent team a game.

Next week we are away to Goring at the Conservative club. Our first home game is the Tuesday after next.

Our 2nd XI are back in action this Sunday (31st May) in the 2nd Round of the Paul Baker T20 Trophy — a competition proudly named in honour of our late chairman, whose legacy still means so much to the club ❤️

We’d love to see as many people down supporting the lads as possible. Expect big hits, cold drinks, great atmosphere and hopefully a place in the next round 👊

What a great day for the Club as we hosted our first ever Sussex Mixed Disability 2nd XI match vs Essex at the newly refurbished Rotary.

We also welcomed Matt Porter, the Coach of the Worthing Table Tennis Club, who delivered our net, bats and balls.

The accessible table will follow later this week. Enabling us to further nurture Disability sport in Worthing.

A superb all-round performance from Josh Bourne this week! 💪 70 runs with the bat before backing it up with the ball, finishing with figures of 1 wicket for just 17 runs from 6 overs.

Game-changing performance from Oli Rozario for the 2nd XI! ⭐ An unbeaten 21 with the bat under pressure, followed by a brilliant spell of 5/45 to help secure the win. Outstanding effort 👏🔥

Batting masterclass from S. Ravichandran for the 3rd XI! 🚀 An incredible 79* off just 62 balls, including 9 fours and 4 sixes. Pure class from start to finish 👏💥

A brilliant spell from Kathryn this week! 🌟 2 wickets from her 3 overs while conceding just 16 runs — a crucial contribution for the ladies team. Fantastic bowling effort 👏🔥
