As a coastal rowing club, we cater for all rowers from experienced through to those completely new to the sport. Although we predominately train and race on the sea, we also own river boats and train on the river during the winter. We are members of the Coast ARA (CARA), the Hants & Dorset ARA (H&DARA) as well as the national governing body who are now called British Rowing. Worthing Rowing Club i

s always looking for new members, so if you are a complete newbie wanting to try out the sport or someone with more experience looking for a club to join then feel free to contact us or pop down on one of our club nights for a chat (Tues & Thurs 6-8pm).

🏆The Honourable Justice Charles Champions🏆

After a hard fought Season, our crew of James, Spike, Leo and Will have taken home the CARA Open Junior/Senior 4+ championship for the clubs first time in 34 years! Big shoutout to Sean and Joseph for stepping up to the plate when they were a member short to help ensure that the championship returned to its rightful home of Worthing!

The unstoppable force of WRC dint struggle to DEAL with the conditions of this regatta, coming away with arguably the best set of results we’ve had from a single regatta this season!

Less than 24 hours after hosting our own regatta, Worthing crews headed down the road to Shoreham for part two of a full double-regatta weekend.

A mid-regatta plot twist saw racing switch to a straight 1km course after the turning buoys disappeared beneath the water, giving everyone a slightly different challenge for the afternoon.

A crazy, brilliant day of racing, teamwork and club spirit on one of the best stretches of the south coast. Since 1847 and continuing!

Worthing Regatta 2026 was a huge success, with more than 240 entries, many people's first ever races, and a packed programme of racing from start to finish. Huge thank you to every competitor, volunteer, umpire, sponsor and supporter who helped make the regatta such a great day. We all hope you had an amazing time in Worthing and return to the regatta next year ❤️💙

I'm definitely not complaining about the weather.
This was 6am yesterday as I was guerrilla gardening! Worthing Rowing Club was already out on the water.
I sat on the sofa for the France game last night watching a beautiful pink sunset out of the window so tonight I am going for a stroll on the beach at dusk.
We don't get many such magical moments.
(Sorry about the blemish on the photo centre right - camera lens is knackered).
