April has been non-stop at Worthing Rowing Club 💙❤️

From capsize training at Splashpoint, to getting our boats moved back into the clubhouse ready for coastal season, it’s been all hands on deck.

Not to forget a lovely sunny day of boat/club maintenance, an eggcellent Easter quiz, our new graduating learn to row cohort and everything in between! The upcoming season is looking exciting!

Following a record-breaking achievement from our junior squad in 2020, we’re proud to introduce a new addition to the fleet made possible from their fundraising. 💙❤️

Making the journey from down to Worthing, she’s now ready for a new chapter on the south coast.

Welcome to the fleet, Little Lou!

34 years later… we’re sending it back to London!

Worthing Rowing Club returns to the Head of the River Race for the first time since 1992.

A huge milestone not just for those racing, but for everyone who’s played a part in getting us here and supporting the club. We're very proud to be putting Worthing on the map! ❤️💙

Southampton Coastal Head 2026 🌊

Over 175 crews raced down the Itchen on the weekend! Super proud of our crews representing Worthing, putting in amazing effort and improving on last year's times. It was an enjoyable day in the sun!

Many thanks to for hosting, and a big thank you to for capturing it all from above 📸

January at Worthing Rowing Club - what a month! ❤️💙

Swipe to see photos from our many river outings on the River Adur, to that rainy session no one wanted to cancel , to ice skating (social sec ended up slipping and eating the ice 👀), club clean teamwork, and not one but TWO open days!!!

Over 185 people registered interest in joining us this January - we're so pleased to be putting coastal rowing on the map and seeing so many enthusiastic attendees. Looking forward to a great few months ahead! 💙❤️

If your New Year's resolutions haven’t gone exactly to plan, you’re not alone! You don’t need to “start over” to try something new.

Rowing is a brilliant way to stay active through winter, enjoy being outdoors, and meet people in a supportive, welcoming environment.

At Worthing Rowing Club, we offer a Learn to Row course designed for beginners, whether you’re looking for a new challenge, a way to enjoy the water, or something that might one day turn into racing!

We strongly encourage anyone interested to attend our Open Day on 25 January. It’s a relaxed chance to:
• meet our coaching team
• try erg rowing
• see the club environment
• meet other beginners

Many of us started with no intention of racing and stayed because of the club community, the thrill of regatta season, and the joy of rowing!

What a year for Worthing Rowing Club! 🚣‍♂️💫 From growing to 100 members and rowing 32,000 km indoors, to sending 160+ crews to regattas across the south coast, the club has combined ambition, fun, and community like never before.

A standout moment? The Open Junior 4+ crew clinched the CARA Championship title - the club’s first win in 25 years - and went on to take second at the South Coast Championships in Plymouth. With such dedication on and off the water, the future looks incredibly bright for Worthing Rowing Club!
