💎 FULL TIME RESULT - DIAMOND 6-0 SPIRE FC 💎

What a way to kick off the new season! 😍🔥

Diamond were on the front foot from the first whistle and it didn’t take long to get our noses in front. Thommo slipped Jayden through on goal and he kept his cool to slot it home. 1-0! 💎

Not long after, Chucky launched a long ball forward which Thommo brought under control brilliantly before calmly finishing. 2-0! 👌💎

The third came from a long throw into the box from Maz, which Elliott rose to nod home. 3-0! 💎

Around the half-hour mark we added another. Leon’s long ball found Jayden, who cut inside before placing it nicely into the bottom corner. 4-0! 🔥

Half time: Diamond 4-0 Spire. 💎

Then came the second half… and safe to say, things got a little interesting 😂

Shortly after the restart, a two-footed challenge on Maz sparked a bit of a reaction, with Maz seeing red and Diamond having to play the rest of the game with 10 men. 🟥

But going down to 10 didn’t stop us! 💪

A long ball sent Kyle racing towards the corner, where he somehow kept it in, beat a couple of defenders and smashed it into the bottom corner. WHAT. A. GOAL. 👏🔥 5-0!

With five minutes left, Jayden put Kyle through on goal and he calmly chipped the keeper, watching the ball find the far corner. 6-0! 💎😍

Spire tried everything they could to disrupt the game, but the lads dug in, stayed focused and saw it through to a massive 6-0 victory! 👏💎

2 goals and an assist means your CT Builders Man of the Match is JAYDEN! 🏆💎 Quality, pal! 👏

💎 FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON 💎

On Sunday we welcome FC Spire to Creswell for the opening game of the 26/27 season, at our new ground! ⚽️

We hope to see as many of you there as possible to come and support the boys! We’ve had an influx of new fans coming to support us throughout pre-season, and we hope we’ve entertained you enough to now come when it matters! 💎⚽️

We’ll also be on hand to serve up some warm beverages on the day! ☕️

26/27 SEASON FIXTURES 💎

A huge thank you to everybody who has come over to support us at our new home throughout pre-season! Your support has been brilliant, and we’re hoping to see even more of you as the games that matter begin. 💎

What better way to start the season than with our opening fixture at home! 🏠💎

Although the gaffer will be watching from afar due to his 2-game ground ban, the boys are ready to get the season underway!

We hope to see as many faces as possible down at our new home to get behind the lads and give them the support they deserve. 🖤❤️

💎 FULL TIME RESULT 💎

2 first-half goals in our final pre-season friendly saw us finish pre-season with a 2-0 win at home to Brimington Three Horseshoes FC! 💎

A solid start from the Diamond saw us apply the pressure early on, and eventually the breakthrough came! A ball into the box gave Murds enough time and space to chest it down before smashing it home! 1-0 💎

Shortly after, we doubled our lead! I didn’t actually see this one because Beechy decided to stand on my toe with his boots on… cheers mate. 🤦‍♂️😂

Apparently it was a screamer though! Leon found himself around 30 yards from goal and decided to have a dig, smashing the ball into the roof of the net! 💎

The boys went into the break 2-0 up.

Onto the second half…

After making a few changes at half time, the second half ended goalless. Some really good performances, a few good chances created, but we couldn’t add to our tally.

Most importantly, we finish pre-season with a clean sheet! 💎🧤

This week, your CT Builders Man of the Match goes to Sam! 👏

Came on at half time and was absolutely quality at centre half. Solid, composed and didn’t put a foot wrong. Well played mate! 💎👏

That brings our pre-season to an end! No game for us over the bank holiday weekend, and then it’s time for the real stuff as the season kicks off the weekend after! 👀💎

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us throughout pre-season. We really appreciate every bit of support, whether you’ve been on the sidelines, following us online or cheering us on from afar.

FULL TIME RESULT - 💎 Harthill FC 1-3 Creswell Black Diamond 💎

On Sunday we travelled to Harthill FC for another pre-season friendly, and what a performance from the lads! 👏

We started a little slowly and the home side took advantage. A ball into our box from a throw-in saw Brandon attempt to punch clear, only for the ball to fall nicely to one of their players who tapped home. 1-0 Harthill.

But shortly after, the Diamond started to click. ⚡

A lovely through ball from Leon sent Jayden through on goal, and he calmly slotted it past the keeper. No panic, no fuss… just what you want from your striker! 😮‍💨💎 1-1

We went into the break level.

Onto the second half, and around the hour mark the referee pointed to the spot after awarding a penalty for a shoulder barge.

The Harthill lad stepped up, looked to put it into the corner… but Brandon had other ideas! 🧤

He read it like a book and brilliantly parried the penalty away! Quality save, mate. 👏💎

A few substitutions shortly after completely changed the game, with the reshuffle seeing Jayden move back out onto the wing.

And boy, did Harthill know about it! 😂

Jayden beat their full-back time and time again before putting a quality ball across the box, allowing our prolific striker Dan Murdock to calmly slot home. 🎯 1-2 Diamond! 💎

And Murds wasn’t finished there…

He showed exactly what he’s all about, outpacing and outmuscling their defender before a couple of twists and turns in the box left him with the space to calmly fire the ball into the back of the net.

Game over. 1-3! 💎🔥

A fantastic Diamond performance, with plenty of positives to take from another really good pre-season outing.

The CT Builders Man of the Match could have gone to a number of lads, but this week it goes to Jayden! ⚡

A goal, an assist and a cracking performance out wide. Absolutely fantastic, mate! 👏💎
