Thanks to all those who attended the Bandits Christmas meal tonight we hope you enjoyed it. This was not made possible without the hard work put into it by Lisa Tudor and Cally Wirght. I would like to thank them on behalf of the Bandits not only for their sterling efforts tonight but also on every Bandits meeting we have.

Just to let you know those who are attending our Christmas Dinner on Tuesday the start time has been brought forward to 7pm due to the Station chefs working hours. So please note it is now 6:30pm for a 7 pm start.

We can only apologies for no players turning up to tonights Bassetlaw Bandits meeting. There appears to have been a breakdown in communications between the club and the players. The club are extremely embarrassed that this has happened and ensure us that it will not happen again. Thanks to all of you who turned out and we will be doing all we can for this not to happen again.

We finally have our guests for our next get together on the 9th August 7:30 for 7:45pm start at the Station Hotel. We welcome Steelers Head Coach Aaron Fox and Steelers Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Mike Mawer. Should be an interesting evening.

We would just like to thanks Tony and Shaun Smith for coming to the Bandits meeting for a Q & A session this evening it was much appreciated. Sounds like Foxy is putting a good team together and I also can't wait to see the new Jumbotron in action.

Hi All

As expected there are no players available to join us at next Tuesday's meeting. Dave Simms is recuperating from what we hope was a successful operation, and we've been unsuccessful in obtaining any off-ice personnel. However, we have some guests who've never been before.

We'll be joined by Clair & Elise from the Supporters' Club who will let us into the secrets of Away Travel & its ups & downs.

David Bray is going to reminisce on his Steelers' life. He might include snippets on his achievements in obtaining player guests.

Last, but not least and providing that there's still time, Ray will plumb the depths of our knowledge with another of his fiendish quizzes.

Overall, a varied range of subjects. We hope to see you on Tuesday 10 May, 7.30pm for 7.45pm at our usual venue, the Station Hotel, Carlton Road, Worksop, S80 1PS.

Just a reminder our next meeting is our Christmas Meal so if you have booked we look forward to seeing you on the 14th 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start. Our normal meetings (fingers crossed) will resume in the New Year. For those not at the Christmas Meal we wish you all Merry Christmas and Best wishes for the New Year.

Thanks to Sam Jones and Brendan Connolly for giving up their time this evening and attending the Bassetlaw Bandits meeting. As always it was a good meeting. Brendan was presented with his prize for the Buzz game which he won before lock down. Unfortunately he will not be winning it this season as tonight his time was greater than Sam's who is now the one that other players have to beat.
