Worksop Sabres U7, our second game. Another learning curve, so much development. Let’s forget the goals conceded, and concentrate on scoring 2 goals ourselves. In hot conditions, we faught to the end. The teams head didn’t drop once, optimised by HJ6 in goal, voted player of the match by our amazing parents. Myself and Mitch are hugely proud of every single one of them. Their development over the past 6 or so weeks has been so worthwhile to see. Commitment to learn, develop and grow will only benefit them in their first season as a team and as the grow older. Once again a thank you to our amazing parents, and families, also Megan and Charlotte. Our team wouldn’t be a team without you all!

Today, we celebrate all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures, and role models who make grassroots football possible.

From early morning kick-offs and training sessions in all weather, to washing kits, running the line, coaching from the sidelines, and offering endless support and encouragement — thank you for everything you do.

We hope you all have a fantastic Father’s Day and enjoy spending time with your families.

U13 Falcons Man of the Match today was I.

A true captain's performance. His communication, leadership and willingness to work for the team never stopped from the first whistle to the last. He led by example, kept encouraging his teammates, distributed the ball brilliantly and never gave up on a single situation. There was simply no such thing as a lost cause for him today.

A performance he should be extremely proud of.

U10 lionesses played a Friendly against Millmoor Juniors.

After a steady start we clicked into gear and never looked back. Played the game we’ve been asking of them over recent training sessions.

The goals came thick and fast from everyone that went forward.

Running away clear winners 8-0.

The clean sheet was testament to our Player of the Match between the sticks. D was absolutely on fire anything in the box was hers, played with no fear and her distribution was perfect.

Happy birthday to our fantastic committee members Kelly and Matt! What a day to celebrate on Father’s Day 🎈

Kelly is our club chairperson and has various huge responsibilities. She is always there for everyone, supporting managers, coaches, players and even spectators.

Matt is our pitch manager and makes sure we have pitches throughout the year and the schedule is organised so there’s no clashes.⚽️

U7 Pythons had their presentation today with laser quest as a treat.

It was lovely to share with friends and family the achievements of the Pythons after their 1st season, which finished off on a high with a cup win.

There were already a few friendship groups within the team when we started but now they are all friends who work hard for each other, support and look after each other, which is special, which makes them a team.....the Pythons 🟡🔵🟡🐍💪🏻
