What a month! Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been up to as the weather’s warmed up ☀️

Clipping in preparation for the hot weather! Plenty of tidy clips to keep horses comfortable in the heat and ready for the summer workload ✂️

Lesson progress galore!! Huge well done to clients smashing their goals, building confidence, and polishing those transitions 🎯

Breakers making big steps! First leans and first sits completed quietly and positively, setting them up for calm, correct starts✨

Reliable daily yard visits, turnout, feeds, meds, grooming and checks done consistently whatever the weather🌦️

Ringside support, grooming at events with last-minute shine-ups, and calm, organised prep in the warm-up 🧼

Big milestone day for April! 🐴✨
Last week she was sat on for the very first time, and what a rewarding journey it has been already. Watching her grow in confidence through each breaking session has been so special, and seeing all the patience and hard work come together yesterday made it even more worthwhile.
April has taken everything in her stride with such a calm and willing attitude, and we couldn’t be prouder of her.
We’re so excited for the future with this lovely girl 💕

Took the afternoon off to help transport my nephew to his vet appointment last week, and honestly it was such an insightful, eye-opening experience🐴

We headed to Equine Veterinary Dentist to see James and his team, who we honestly couldn’t recommend enough. They were incredible with Thomas, so patient, so calm, and their communication throughout was amazing✨

We’d done a few trailer and box practice sessions beforehand as he can be a bit of a worrier when it comes to travelling, but he handled the day so well🥰

It turns out he needed two teeth removing due to decay caused by an external impact when he was younger, which explains some of the resistance and tension we’ve been feeling under saddle.
The most important thing is he’s now out of pain and starting his recovery journey!

Really interested to see how his rehab journey progresses from here, especially in terms of softness, contact, and building a more positive association with the bit going forward 🤍
