From 47kg to 54kg…my fitness journey:
First of all I want to start off by saying, not everyone wants to be skinny! My whole life I’ve had a skinny, runner like physique with a rapid fast metabolism. Moving into my teen years, this quickly became an insecurity of mine. I was unhappy with how ‘skinny’ I looked and desired being more toned with built legs and glutes- to be specific. At ages 15/16, I was in and out of attempted gym phases which all failed because of my lack of knowledge about the gym. Although I have always trained in the gym for athletic purposes, my understanding around how to maximise muscle growth was poor and I just was missing something. I (what I thought at the time) tried so hard to gain weight through food but nothing worked. So I gave up. I’m so thankful for my venture in personal training, as when I had started my course it gave me not only the knowledge but the kick that I needed to get started in the gym again. Fast forwarding to early 2022, I’d really had enough. I’d endured a fair share of comments from people over the years about my skinny physique and being ‘flat’ ect. and I was in a good position to start the change. For the past year and 6 months, I’ve not only changed physically but this has been a mental shift for me also. From the get go I was so determined and fuelled by insecurity and external opinions. This allowed me to be super consistent which has ultimately been they key to where I am today. There has only been small changes for now, and I am very very far from where I would like to be. But my goals still remain gaining more muscle mass, shaping up and growing my glutes🍑. For any girls and guys that can relate, my best advice is keep going. Allowing time and consistency is the game changer.
And ultimately this is why I am in such a passionate position to help likeminded people who may be experiencing what I did, to achieve their desired physique🔥 If your ready to make that shift, you know where I am. Link in bio for enquiries or send me a message x
