Radiation Racing Radiation Racing is a North West amateur race team racing in the Citroen C1 Endurance Series. The troupe's chosen chariot? Buckle up, folks!

The team members are Bill Bell, Aidy Williams & Will Ward, 3 like minded motorsport enthusiasts that want to go racing and have a laugh in the process. Once upon a speed bump in the North West, there exists a delightful band of not-so-professional racers, dubbed the "Radiation Racers". They're pedal-to-the-metal crusaders in the world of the Citroen C1 Endurance Series, comprised of a trio of spee

d-starved zealots: Bill "Burnout" Bell, Aidy "Axle" Williams, and Will "Wheelie" Ward. Three mates bonded by the intoxicating scent of burning rubber, the symphony of roaring engines, and an unyielding pursuit for laughter amid the torque and tyres. A modestly used, but battle-tested Citroen C1 race car, purchased in the early blush of 2023. This little beast has seen more rubber laid down than a tyre factory, even surviving the gauntlet that is the Silverstone C1 24hr race, making it an experienced and battle-hardened vehicular veteran. Our fearless trifecta recently sharpened their skills with the dreaded ARDS test, not just passing but revving, drifting and skidding through with flying colours. Following a few test drives (that may or may not have involved the use of traffic cones as slalom poles), and a few key tweaks to align with the oh-so-strict 2023 rule book, they're now ready to peel out of the pit lane. Brace yourselves as they uncage this 998cc fury on wheels, more terrifying than a hamster on a double espresso. Join us for this high-octane (and hopefully low-damage) saga of Radiation Racing, as they zigzag across the country, leaving a trail of smiles, laughter and possibly the occasional doughnut tyre marks. It's going to be a wild, amusing, and undoubtedly unforgettable ride.

What a race, what a weekend, what a team!

49 cars started an epic 3hr race of endurance. We finished 27th overall and 19th in the AM class in what was a hot and action packed race. Some great driving by all! Thanks to everyone who sent messages of support and encouragement!
