Fabulous Force - 4 in July

Not yet 4, little Force is ready to move on to the next stage of her life and boy is she ready! She's a little pocket rocket at just 24kg and is a real gentle soul

She is accepting of absolutely everything she loves children, other dogs and would be a fabulous family pet either by herself or with a companion! She has plenty of energy and loves playing with her toys, but is equally happy curled up on her bed

Newcastle Greyhound Stadium performance of the week for 👊🏻👊🏻

The Category One Arena Racing Company Kent Silver Salver topped the week with the first round of the sprint competition with a pair of Cat Two events starting at Sunderland.

Candy is just one of our regular blood donators ❤️❤️

How sweet is Candy?! 🍬🍭

This gentle girl came in recently to donate blood for Greyhound Trust Cumbria

She was very well behaved and we're so grateful for her help 🩷

Heres a lovely pic of Candy enjoying the sunshine after her donation with student nurse Lucy.

"Candy is a real one off, such a lovable girl. She is very food orientated, and is one of the cleverest dogs we have ever seen, from opening kennel doors herself to finding inventive ways to pinch someone else's dinner, you're never going to have a boring day with her! She has a lush black coat with distinguished white markings around her chest and face. She's very laid back in most situations, great with other large dogs although not small, and fantastic with children."

Bad Moon Rise - 3 years old

Moon is a 3 year old boy who has everything going for him! He's a beautiful boy with a lush black coat, and still has all his puppy energy ready to play at the drop of a hat. He loves being outside chasing balls and playing with his toys, as well as lots of walks!

He's good with other larger dogs but not small breeds, and due to his energy children would need to be at least 10. He's a real fuss pot and loves attention, especially being stroked

(T4) made it two for the day with a very simple handicap victory. She loves the stagger and took quick advantage today, into 3rd by the bend she slipped around the outside of the leader at 3/4 and ran on strongly giving her opponents no chance in a calculated 29.74 💪🏻💪🏻

A new week and another double to get us going as the winners continue to roll in! was at it this time, showing the superior early pace she flew to the bend in front and had enough coming home to hold them off in a decent 29.44 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Just the one winner to finish off our week at Newcastle Greyhound Stadium on Saturday as the youngster (T3) scored his maiden win at the 5th attempt after knocking on the door for a while. He quickly took control with his early pace, moving in to the lead by the second band and ran on smartly, giving them no chance to catch him in 30.32 👏🏻👏🏻

Always Able - 6 years old

Able is a lovely boy who's just turned 6 with a full head of steam! He's a strong boy who has plenty of power on the lead, he is alert and reactive to other dogs when out on walks, so would not suit young children

He does have all the energy in the world so if you're a walker he's going to love that, he's great with other greyhounds, especially female, and would also suit being the only dog in the home, but would not be good with smaller dogs

He has previously been in a home on short term foster for a week so has some house training and experience
