Not the result we wanted but a very important team spirit was shown from the lads 🩶🖤

A slow first half and switching off at set pieces saw us conceded 2 goals before squeak had the chance to put us back in the game with a penalty that he decided to blast over the bar. Another loss of concentration saw Catshill grab another before half time.

A big half time team talk and a few subs saw Rovers take control of the second half dominating the ball and nearly pulling one back but Krystian was denied by a fantastic save from the keeper who also stopped Krystian’s free effort from going into the top corner

Matt Bishop Scored Rovers first goal of the season with a volly just outside the box with the keeper spilling the ball into his own next

Rovers pushed but just couldn’t find that 2nd or 3rd goal we deserved with catshill counterattacking and nicking a goal late on

MOTM Brett Mould was quality today 👏👏

Jake Butler ask the BFG signs for the Rovers 👀

Jake not Jack joined us in pre season but struggle with a few little injuries, he’s agreed to sign as a back up to Marcin and play when needed. As a thank you for his commitment throughout preseason the Manager has also asked Jake to help him on Sundays a role Jake is very used to and brings a lot of experience and different views that’ll help the team this season 🩶🖤
