While the main league will not be played this year, we still have a few games coming up during the summer.

Monday 21June, 2pm start. Home v MCC touring team

Sunday 27June. 1pm start , friendly away at Gloucestershire Growlers

Sunday 18July 1pm start home against Derby

Sunday 25 July 1pm start at home against Staffs

Sunday 15/8 T10 competition at Staffs, all day.

We are happy to let you know that VI Cricket will be starting from April 21st at 6pm! Please see below for safety guidelines:

Club:

As much as possible the club aims to provide a Covid safe environment for VI Cricket playing and training, and consequently training can resume from 21 April.

* Track and trace. The club has undertaken to display a QR code that can be scanned with the NHS app by all visitors. If you don't have a smart phone, you must advise Lynne when you arrive.

* All equipment balls, bats, wickets will be sanitized before play, and balls and hands must be cleaned every 10 minutes during play.

* Toilet facilities will be available but changing rooms will be closed.

* Hand sanitizer and antiseptic wipes will be available, however, players are advised to bring their own.

* Declaration. The club will undertake to prepare a declaration form for the purposes of registering players fit for play. A cross or email will be accepted if a player is unable to sign.

Players:

It is recognized that players also have responsibilities to keep the club a Covid safe environment.

* Social Distancing. As much as possible players should aim to remain 2m apart. It is recognized some players may find this challenging.

* Transport. All players must make their own way to and from the ground using private or public transport. The club cannot provide lifts at this time.

* Guiding. Players requiring sighted guide to locate club facilities, other mobility assistance or to or remain 2M apart must bring with them 1 member of their bubble to facilitate.

* Declaration. Players wishing to participate must sign a declaration form indicating they accept that the club has taken all reasonable steps practicable to minimize the risk of Covid transmission, and that players are not exhibiting simptons, nor been in contact with anyone known to have Covid 19 in the previous 7 days.

* Masks must be warn if inside the pavilion but not required outside.

Dates

21 April VI cricket training resumes at 6PM, and every Wednesday after.

17 May England phase 3 mixing indoors permitted.

21 June MCC friendly. England phase 4 remaining restrictions relaxed.

TBC league fixtures home and away against Stafs and Derby.

TBC 2 T10 tournaments.
