It’s been a busy, challenging & enjoyable first half of the season! 🏉

• Doing more coaching week-to-week than ever before (& that’s saying something!)

• Excited to carry out more recruitment activities with University of Worcester 🔵⚪️

• Began coaching in the Red Roses Pathway with the U18’s PDG 🌹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

• Interacted with over x150 Coaches through course delivery & mentoring 🤓

• Observed Northampton Saints, Gloucester-Hartpury, & Exeter University training environments 🏆

• Started planning a research project to explore elite female-coach experiences 🧐

Can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store 😎💪🏉

Uni of Worcester Women are on the look-out to expand our coaching team! 👀

🏉 5/6 wins so far this season with !🔵⚪️

A more pleasing metric for me, has been the availability of 21+ players at every game so far this season 😁

When I first started this role, we had some super-star talent. But often we’d only take 13/15 players to fixtures, meaning results got away from us due to fatigue and a lack of replacements when injuries occur 🤕

Part of my ‘Why?’ has been to support the growth of women’s rugby and provide the best possible experience for all involved. I love seeing the team win, but I also love to see the group grow knowing that players are having memorable experiences, relationships and interactions on and off the pitch 👌🏽

Rugby’s great for that! 🏉
