The LHMC Soapbox race is back for 2024! 🛒

All new and improved for the next year, we're pleased to open competitor entries for the soapbox race taking place on the break between the April bank-holiday rallycross action March 31st 2024.
With more competitors, and course improvements this gravity race is one not to be missed.

In case you missed it, here's the entry list for the LHMC Soapbox race today!

Gates are open now, but the racing will being at 12:00pm,
Tickets will be available on the gate for £5 with kids 13 & under going free!

The course will be constructed starting from the top of the hill and dip into the pit lane for the final decent.

🚨Soapbox Entry News! 🚨
Team 86 are confirmed for the soapbox race coming up in less than two weeks.
This marvellous construction started life as a kids pedal push kart, which has undergone extensive modification, removing the pedals, cutting, welding and the addition of the rather spectacular aero parts.

🚨Soapbox Entry News 🚨
Team Gravitas is locked in for the LHMC Soapbox race on April 9th and will be gunning for silverware, having last raced 25 years ago in the Charing soapbox races picking up a podium finish in third place.

This will be the final hurrah for pilot Richard Carrison, who plans to take the gravity racer to the top at Lydden Hill next month!

Prototype drawings have been released for team name TBC headed up by team boss 8-year old Jack.
Jack is heading up the 3 person team comprising of him, Dad and Grandad.

The team have been hard at work this weekend getting ready for April 9th, Grandad Ian was quoted...
'Jack is still deciding on the finer details at the moment but he continues to peel a strip off of me when things are not right.'
