End of season,
The club would like to thank each and everyone that has been apart of the club this season❤️🖤
Ricki and Sealey for their continued hard work with the pitch,from how we receive the pitch to how we get it looking each week especially with 2 teams on it this season has been a fantastic effort ❤️🖤
Micky Yvonne Tracey Sam, for Doing the Food and Bar and tuck shop , and numerous other things ❤️🖤
And to All the players in which has been a long long season ❤️🖤
Having been Promoted from 5th in the senior the season before this season into the premier this season was always going to be tough ,
Then for 5 of the squad to decide their football laid elsewhere this season
On top of strikers Glover and Mischa (retired) being missing injured for the whole season ,then for smallridge to get a season ending injury after 5 games,
And unavailability of key players, Josh ,Luis ,snoookes,
Left us extremely short on numbers and having to play all season with No striker 🤦♂️,
Getting a team for the first game looked
Very unlikely, but we managed and fortunately we was able to rearrange our next few fixtures ( thanks to all clubs involved).
This gave us time to get some new players in. A lot of whom where young lads that never played or had very limited time playing adults football , but they did themselves proud this season hopefully can all kick on again next season, 🖤❤️
Most weeks still a struggle for availability like most clubs especially towards the end with injuries mounting up,
Not ones to moan about it or use it as an excuse each week , we just got our heads down and got on with it and it made us tighter as a group
We had some good moments throughout the season, and look to play football in the right way, but with no striker, scoring enough goals was hard to come by,
Proud of the togetherness and commitment shown by the squad,especially asking lads to play when they are injured or out of position
The young lads coming into the squad have been a breath of fresh air ❤️🖤
Hopefully we can keep everyone together. And add to what we have
And with the return of Glover we will have someone who will give us goals
