Woodstock Town F.C presentation afternoon, truly was a fun filled afternoon for all!

A couple of weeks ago, when the Reserves played Charlton in their penultimate match of the season, the club hosted our awards evening making it a great afternoon for all of our teams together.

With kids mini matches, a bouncy castle, BBQ and after being walked out by the Woodstock under 5s/6s ‘Dinosaurs’ team, the Reserves going on to win their home game 6-0 was the icing on the cake! 🎉

We are looking to strengthen our squad and add new faces.

Open preseason training starts on Saturday 27th June from 2pm till 4pm.
Every Tuesday 7:30pm till 9pm and Saturday 2pm till 4pm

Our Man Of The Match for Saturdays game against Watlington Town First is.....

👏 Antonio Silva 👏

Antonio put in a superb performance from start to finish, winning his 50/50 battles, staying composed on the ball, and playing a vital role in the defence throughout the game.

Not only did Antonio do the basics perfectly, but he kept everything simple and effective, never over complicated things. His ability to read the game on and off the ball showed real quality and football intelligence💪⚽️

🔥What a way to end the 2025/2026 season🔥

Woodstock Town Reserves 9-3 Watlington Town First

From the first whistle, Woodstock took complete control of the game, moving the ball brilliantly and using the full width of the pitch. The pressure paid off early, and within the opening 20 minutes we found ourselves 3-0 up with some outstanding goals.

The intensity never dropped throughout the first half. Woodstock dominated the midfield, with the forwards causing Watlington’s defence constant problems and forcing mistakes all over the pitch. We did the basics brilliantly - winning first and second balls, competing hard in every 50/50 challenge, while staying focused and respecting the threat Watlington carried going forward.

Woodstock went into half-time with a commanding 6-1 lead.

The second half started exactly the same way, with Woodstock continuing to apply pressure and play some excellent football. Another goal soon made it 7-1 before Watlington responded during a spell of pressure to make it 7-2.

Both sides continued to play good football for the remainder of the game, but Woodstock kept pushing forward and added another two goals, while Watlington grabbed one more of their own.

A brilliant team performance and a perfect way to end the season.

🔥 Our Last Game Of the 25/26 Season 🔥

This weekend, we welcome Watlington Town FC First to New Road💥

This is the third time both teams have met this season, one being in the league and one in the semi final of the Cup. Watlington came out victorious both times, Woodstock know this won't be an easy game but will do everything they can to get revenge and end the season on a positive.

Woodstock know they need to build on our good performance last weekend and be at our best, sticking to the game plan, battle for every ball and leave everything out on the pitch with no regrets💪🔴⚪️
