I've been so busy that I know I haven't posted much for a while now. But I just had to share about the wonderful day I had on Sunday, dancing Jive and Salsa with gorgeous Graziano and Giada! 😍 I can't wait til the next classes, and in the meantime I'll still be floating on air!

Great to attend the IDTA London Seminars again yesterday, do some catching up with familiar faces and join in with some fabulous lectures. I particularly enjoyed dancing the Rock 'n' Roll and Rumba, and I was so impressed by the clarity and presentation of David Cockram and Rosie Ward. What a delightful young Ballroom couple, who will go on to even greater achievements 🏆🏆 . (The Latin couple in the picture below are the equally impressive Darren Hammond and Marina Steshenko).

Hard to believe my last Charity Dance for Marie Curie was a year ago yesterday. How things have changed in a year 😥

Let's look forward to the day we can dance freely again and socialise as before, and celebrate with the biggest and best Charity Dance yet! In the meantime, have a little dance at home everyone and stay safe and well! Xx🤞🙏💃

Just brilliant to get back to my Woodstock venue for the last two weeks, and fingers crossed, we’re allowed to continue in these different times.
Last week I had every class running again! It’s been so great seeing you all again, including Charlbury on Saturday, so bring on a new week with lots more dance, dance, dance...😀💃🏻❤️

A few photos from the archives as I look back and remember that I attended my first dance class on 11th October 1970! I went along to Cowley Community Centre, much to my dance loving Mum's delight, and was taught by Norma Harris of Brett's School of Dance! Thank you so much Norma for everything, and to Liz LeeSelleck for training me in my professional exams, and helping me realise my dream! ❤💃

I just wanted to say how GREAT it is to have started back my dance classes and private lessons, gradually phasing them in since the beginning of September.

Yes it IS different, but everyone has said how great it is to be dancing again. I want to thank everyone for embracing the changes, and appreciating that guidelines have to be followed for their own safety. (Sorry also to everyone who hasn’t been able to return due to social distancing restrictions. You are missed).

Dance has a wonderful “feel good” factor and it’s great to be back! And next month it will be 50 years since I went to my first children’s dance class!! My eternal thanks to Norma Harris from Bretts School of Dance for starting me on this wonderful path, and to Liz Lee Selleck for training me for my professional exams! I’m so glad to be back dancing even if I can’t have a 50th dance celebration! 💃❤️😀
