A match winning all round performance from Shihab Shah, who starred with both bat and ball for We One CC.

Shihab played a superb innings of 94 runs off 110 balls, including 10 fours and 3 sixes, anchoring the team's total of 188/3. He then backed it up with an outstanding bowling spell of 3 wickets for 37 runs from 10 overs, maintaining an excellent economy rate of 3.70.

We One CC Crush Langwith CC by 172 Runs at Shirebrook

We One CC delivered a dominant all round performance to secure a convincing 172 run victory over Langwith CC in a one sided encounter at Shirebrook.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, We One CC piled up an imposing 245/8 from their 40 overs.

The innings was built around a sensational knock from Dilbag Singh, who smashed 126 runs from 106 balls, including 12 fours and 4 sixes. He was well supported by Mayur Chavare, who added a classy 70 from 79 deliveries.

Langwith CC bowlers struggled to contain the strong batting display, although Tom Sharpe impressed with figures of 4/33, while Andrew Cann claimed 3 wickets.

Chasing 246 for victory, Langwith CC never found momentum against a disciplined We One bowling attack. Andy Gascoyne top scored with 27, while Richard Radford made 10 and David Pilkington remained unbeaten on 8. However, regular wickets prevented any meaningful partnership from developing.

Sujith Kumar Thoppil Udayan led the bowling attack brilliantly with 3 wickets for 13 runs, while Jibin John delivered one of the most economical spells of the match, taking 2 wickets for just 4 runs in 6 overs. Arun Sabariyar also chipped in with 2 wickets
as Langwith CC were bowled out for 73 in 27.2 overs.

Dilbag Singh was deservedly named Player of the Match for his outstanding century, which laid the foundation for We One CC’s emphatic win.

👏👏👏We One CC cruise to 65 run victory over Woodsetts Community CC👏👏👏

We One CC produced a complete all round performance to secure a commanding 65 run victory against Woodsetts Community CC in the Bassetlaw & District Cricket League Division 4 clash at Woodsetts Recreation Ground.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, We One CC posted a competitive 224/7 from their 40 overs. The innings was anchored brilliantly by Nishanth S, who played a superb knock of 84 from 80 balls, smashing 11 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 105.00
He received solid support from Arun Sabariyar, who remained unbeaten on 50 from 63 deliveries, ensuring the innings stayed on track through the middle overs.

Dilbag Singh added 17, Alen George Uthup contributed 18, while Jibin John provided late acceleration with a quickfire 17 off just 8 balls, including a six.

For Woodsetts Community CC, Simon Dosanjh was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets, while Noah Marriott, Peter Barley and Wayne Keeling chipped in with one wicket each.

Chasing 225, Woodsetts Community CC were bowled out for 159 in just 27 overs despite a fighting innings from Adam Dickens, who top scored with an aggressive 94 from 79 balls that included 12 boundaries and 2 sixes. Nathan Morris added 23, but the rest of the batting line up struggled against disciplined bowling from We One CC.

Sagar Rajyaguru delivered a match winning spell, claiming 4 wickets for just 19 runs from 7 overs. Santhosh Sebastian supported well with 2 wickets, while Dilbag Singh and Arun Sabariyar picked up a wicket each. Tight bowling and regular breakthroughs ensured Woodsetts never built a sustained partnership.

The victory gives We One CC an important boost in Division 4 as they continue their strong start to the season with an impressive team performance in both batting and bowling departments.
