🚫Tennis CANCELLED due to weather forecast🚫
Hi All,
Back again! Well last week’s weather was a bit of a joke, absolutely poured down in Wickford but was sunny here in Woodham, typical British weather 😊
This week there is a 50% chance of rain and with the strong wind I have made the decision to cancel.
Refunds shall be processed in due course.
On another note, I wanted to give you an update on the progression of finding an indoor venue. Talks are still continuing therefore, I wanted to let you all know that the plan is as follows:
If we are unable to get an indoor space for this winter then Tennis will stop at the end on October (Tuesday 31st will be the last session and I want you all to turn up in your best HALLOWEEN fancy dress 🎃) and shall resume late march next year. This is because as the weather is so unreliable, its unfair cancelling on you as I’m sure it’s a nuisance (I like consistency and I'm sure you do too) and for the players safety, the outdoor space would not be suitable in the winter.
All the above is only an 'if'.
However, talks shall continue, and I am trying my very best to get us a space so the tennis can continue, but as some of you may know, being a startup club, it can be quick difficult at first! 😁
