A message from our U17 team after their first session at the club;

What a brilliant morning at Woodhall Spa FC for our U17 trials! ⚽️❤️🖤

A massive thank‑you to our committee for taking a chance with this new team, our fantastic grounds team and Dan Howitt for keeping everyone updated on social media regularly, which ensured an excellent attendance.

A further thankyou to all of the coaching staff and the rest of our volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly, it was truly a team effort.

We also want to give a huge shout‑out to our team sponsor, iContact Branding for their support. It means so much to the players, coaches, and everyone involved with the squad.

We had 19 players give everything during the trials and wanting to part of this New U17 squad for the upcoming season.

The top 14 first‑team players will be announced next week, keep an eye out.

Next up our fabulous Ladies team Woodhall Spa United Ladies football team. Coached by Jamie Town & James Creasey. The squad made their debut in the open age league and gave a good account of themselves with some brilliant performances. We’re very much looking forward to the new season!! Here’s the coaches thoughts;

We celebrated our first open age league campaign with a third place finish in the Lincolnshire Women & Girls Football League Premier Division. Can’t fault the commitment of this team, we always had a squad available and even after some very large breaks they put in excellent performances and got some very good wins! We also got voted the Most Sporting Team this year which again is a fantastic achievement!!
We had our end of season presentation and BBQ down at headquarters with a fantastic turn out of players and familes and not forgetting the traditional emotional gaffers speech!

The individual awards going to;

Managers player of the year: Holly Bobs Newman
Players player: Aimee Church

Onto our U11s who this year won their Trophy Division group! Coached by Dan Howitt & Tom Bell, here’s what they had to say;

A year to remember for this group of players, at the start we were unsure how they would adapt to the bigger pitch and offside rule, but they absolutely smashed it along with their personal goals & fully deserved the cup win! Every player has been phenomenal which made selecting the individual awards more difficult. Players have changed positions this year and again, made it look easy. The football the team played this year and some of the goals they have scored has been amazing, they really are a top bunch to coach and watch play, also a big shout out to the boys who come training week in week out, looking forward to all the chaos next season!

Here’s our U15 Blacks who have had an incredible season! A close battle with 2nd place all year but the hard work saw this team claim the title!! Here’s coach Simons thoughts;

U15 blacks went from strength to strength over the course of the season. After winning the first 5 games confidence started to grow and the performances grew over the season.
Managing to beat both of our closest rivals in back to back games saw us go top of the league and stay there.
A incredible achievement to go on and win league and huge congratulations to all the lads on their efforts this season.

Here’s our U8’s who have enjoyed a fabulous year at the club! Here’s what coach Simon had to say on his teams year;

An excellent season for the young boys in the U8. The team has really developed a strong bond and togetherness which has really helped through the season. Scoring lots of goals and playing some really great football every week.
The team have continued to grow together and we’re really looking to seeing them push on again next season.

Our U7 really enjoyed their first presentation day! They’ve also had a fantastic year, scored some brilliant goals and are looking forward to the new season! Here’s coach Josh’s thoughts;
A fantastic first season for the U7’s, it’s been a real privilege to coach them. Each and every player brings something different to the team, and seeing how they’ve grown together is great. We’re looking forward to next season already!
