Woodhall Spa Tennis Club 12 month memberships: Family £150, Adult £70, Junior/Student £30. Join now WSTC is situated on the edge of the picturesque Jubilee Park in Woodhall Spa.

We have three hard courts, all of which are floodlit, enabling daytime and evening play all year round. We are open all year round, and cater for players of all abilities. Whether you just fancy a game with friends, or wish to play competitive matches, WSTC is the place to be. We offer a range of coaching for players of all ages and abilities, both individually or in groups. We have a thriving mem

bership and hold many social events throughout the year. We have teams entered in various Lincolnshire doubles leagues, and host a mixed doubles open tournament at the end of the summer season. Membership rates are among the lowest in the county, and a single payment at the start of each season will enable you to play all year, with no extra costs for court hire etc. The only extra cost is for the coaching. Full details of the coaching available are on the clubhouse noticeboards and our website. Our courts are also available for hire by the hour at certain times of the day/season, details from the swimming pool/gym office in Jubilee Park.

Yesterday we had a great experience at Boston with the 8Us. We were only meant to take 4 players, but the lovely, Sam Cook allowed me to bring an extra 3 players. They all got to play some matches and for the ones who have never played a match, they got to go along and experience playing somewhere different with their team. I believe we should do more of this to give the younger ones a pressure free experience. Boston secured the win with a 9-3 victory, however some of the matches went to 20-18! We had some wobbles, which were overcome and some massive progress with serving and rallying. I am extremely proud of them all and a big thank you to Sam for organising. I also got to see 2 of my players from the past, Liv Allworthy and Nancy Barfield play in the 12Us, which was an added bonus. Alison 😊

I am not sure the grown ups realised it was chucking it down for the 8Us session? 🤣It went ahead with special balls and we had a lot of fun working on rallying. Weather picked up for the older ones and we timed the downpour a minute before the end! 😅
If your 8U is playing in the matches this Saturday, we can do a match session either Thursday, or Friday afterschool.

Thank you to the people who have signed up for the adult tournament this Sunday. If you haven’t yet, please do so. The weather is set to be good and we will make it a fun and memorable day! Free tennis for the juniors in the morning, open courts followed by BBQ and adult competition. All monies go towards the Club, so please come along and support! 😎🎾
