⛳️Life’s a Pitch Charity Golf Week ⛳️

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in and supported our Life’s a Pitch Charity Golf Week at Seckford Golf Club in aid of Fore Get Me Not Golf and Dementia UK held during dementia awareness week 18-24th May.

We welcomed 10 teams who competed over 18 holes in a fun and competitive Texas Scramble format, playing in teams of four. It was a fantastic week with plenty of great golf, laughter, and fundraising for two very worthy causes.

3rd Place – Team Godfrey Batson – Gross 69, Nett 54

Congratulations to Neil Cutting, who won a John Wark signed ITFC shirt! Thank you to Barry Griffiths for his support with this 🙏

Most importantly, thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, we are delighted to announce that a total of £1,250 was raised for Fore Get Me Not Golf and Dementia UK.

Thank you to all the players, supporters, and sponsors who helped make the event such a success.

Good luck to our Tolly Team who are playing away to Newton Green today. It would top off a great week for our teams after a fantastic 4-0 win by our ladies Jubilee team against Bungay on Wednesday and an equally fantastic 8up win by our Parks team against Ipswich on Thursday. Well done everyone!!

Wednesday 27th May 2026

Whether you are a regular participant or joining us for the first time, you are in for an entertaining night.

The nights are hosted by Quiz Master extraordinaire, Simon Jay, and each event includes a delicious home-cooked meal by our chefs to keep your team fuelled for the evening.

• Food service between 6:00pm – 7:00pm.
• Quiz starts 7:30pm, close 10:15pm.
• Teams of 4, £17 per person.
• 22 teams max.
• Open to all members and visitors.

The quiz booking will go live on Eventbrite on Monday 4th May at 7:00pm.

Please Note:

Step 1: Download the Eventbrite app or visit www.eventbrite.co.uk on your web browser.
Step 2: Create your free Eventbrite account by entering your email address and password. You may also be asked to verify your account with a one-time code sent to your email.
Step 3: Once logged in, Eventbrite may ask for your preferences – you can fill these in or simply skip this step.
