CHANGE OF PLAN FOR WEDNESDAY

Wonersh Bowls Club.

We have invited the Chelsea Pensioners to play a game on Wednesday 19th August.

The pensioners are due to arrive in the village at approximately 12.30pm - 1.00pm and will be dropped off at the Memorial Hall entrance where they will be marching to the bowling green.

So if you are free Wednesday lunchtime, please come along and stand in the memorial hall car park to give them a warm Wonersh welcome.

Last night was a great night for Wonersh Bowls Club in the Three Counties Bowls Fellowship.

Our A team won Division 1 and our B team finished second to secure promotion to Division 2. Huge congratulations to everyone who played a part.

On Saturday night we held a Gala Dinner in our new clubhouse to celebrate our centenary. Entertainment was provided by barbershop quartet, Double Bluff, and after dinner speaker, Mel Rees.
