Lundhill’s final game of the 24/25 season sees them come out 2-1 winners to end the season on a high.

Lundhill started well creating a couple of chances and kept out by some good saves from the Courtyard goalkeeper. Courtyard find themself with a dangerous free kick that is swung in missed by everyone and tapped in at the far post to take the lead. Lundhill didn’t get there heads down and controlled the game throughout.

HT 0-1

Second half began and Lundhill was in complete control of the ball just couldn’t find a breakthrough to get them back level until around 20 minutes to play when WROE’s first time effort found the top corner to get the lads back in it. From then on in Lundhill was trying to find that all important second goal to clinch the win when HART stepped up to a free kick with 7 minutes to play and scored, in off the post.

A stat for the top goal scorer trophy was been kept an eye on as both WROE and HART went into the final game sitting on 20 league goals each with both scoring yesterday they’ll share the top goal scorer reward with 21 league goals each⚽️

Thanks to everyone for coming down and supporting the lads throughout this season. Lundhill can still win the league depending on results in the last 2 games of the season around them. Currently sitting 4 points clear but 2 games extra played. No matter the outcome it’s been a great season and we are going up!🔵

After last Sundays disappointing display against Hickleton which Lundhill didn’t get upto the levels they have this season and saw themselves come out with a loss, the lads are back and hopeful of finishing the season on a high.

Tomorrow sees us play Courtyard at home in which is Lundhill’s final game of the season. In a season of plenty of ups and a few downs no matter the outcome of tomorrow’s game Lundhill will be promoted in only our 2nd ever season as a club🔵

Lundhill travel to Hickleton on Easter Sunday in a must win game for both teams who are looking to lift the trophy come the end of the season. Lundhill came out 3-0 winners in the reverse fixture.🔵

Lundhill suffer defeat!

In a game that was end to end and lots of action. Lundhill set the goals off in the 1st minute when HART found the net. Alma quickly equalised a few minutes later 1-1. Lundhill went on to score another 2 from VAUGHAN and JAMMEH to go 3-1 up but couldn’t hold on until half time as Alma found 2 goals for themselves and sending us in at half time 3-3.

Second half begins and Lundhill score through JAMMEH who doubles his tally. 4-3. Another mistake from Lundhill in the 83rd min leads to an own goal and 4-4 and Alma go counter in the 91st minute hit the post but the ball falls back to them to finish it off 5-4. Silly mistakes cost Lundhill the game.

The lads have another week off this coming week and will be back in action against Hickleton on Easter Sunday and then finish the season off against Courtyard.🔵

Lundhill run out as double figure winners in today game against Highgate. 10-0🔵

Lundhill started the game off superb with 3 early chances to take the lead before HART’s cross was met by JAMMEH at the back post 1-0. A second quickly followed when HART’s shot was parried right into the path of JAMMEH to double the lead. Lundhill were dominating the game and WROE scored his first of the game to make it 3-0 before WROE added another straight after 4-0. The final goal of the half came from GILL whose strike found the way under the goal keeper and into the back of the net.

HT 5-0

Second half began and it’s more of the first half where Lundhill didn’t sit back on there 5-0 lead and wanted more goals in the second. JAMMEH finished from close range into the roof of the net to seal his hat trick for the day before HART made it 7-0 which was also followed by WROE also grabbing his hat trick as well. 8-0.

WROE saw his strike find the goal yet again to make it 4 for the day and not long after HART added his second of the game to make it 10-0.

Lundhill don’t have a game next week so will rest and recover before the last 3 games of the season which sees us play all 3 of the top 4 in what will be a dramatic finish to the season🔵⚽️

LUNDHILL WIN!🔵

A game that started well but a little scrappy where no team really had great chances, other than a few corners, which Lundhill missed 2 free headers on separate occasions.

HT 0-0

Lundhill begin the second half better getting the ball down and was creating more, keeping the long ball out from Hickleton who didn’t create anything to shout about.

Lundhill find the way through when HART gets played a ball from the left of the goal and slots it into the side netting putting Lundhill 1-0 infront.

From then on in, it was all Lundhill just looking to add the second to kill the game down. There he is again HART at the double this time great work from GILL who beats men, drifts out wide and drill a ball into the middle which HART places past the goal keeper. A few dangerous free kicks from Hickleton with around 10 to play which was dealt with by Lundhill.

Lundhill grab a 3rd after some great football on show from back to front where O’BRIEN found WROE free in the middle of the park, turns and fires one into the bottom corner. Game over. Lundhill celebrate a well deserved victory!🔵

Sunday sees Lundhill welcome 3rd place Hickleton Harriers in a top of the table class and a must win game as they have 4 games in hand. Lundhill are ready and look forward to a great game ahead🔵

Lundhill lose to Sly Fox after a great game and end to end stuff. Both teams started well but Lundhill found themselves in front after MOSLEY’s free kick was put in the net by a Sly Fox defender. 1-0 Lundhill. Sly Fox probs the better of the two teams but not by much and Lundhill go in at half time 1-0 up.

HT 1-0

Second half begin and Sly Fox became better in the final 3rd with Lundhill defending well and creating chances for themself. Sly Fox did find there equaliser through a great header at the back post. More end to end stuff and both team pushing for winner when Sly Fox get themself a free kick about 25 yard out which was fired into the top corner. Lundhill could have had 3 keepers in the goal and still wouldn’t have kept that strike out. 2-1 Sly Fox. Lundhill put the pressure on to try and find the goal they needed but it wasn’t to be and exit the cup in the quarters🔵
