Brilliant start to the season from the Allstars boys this morning. Dominating the game from beginning to end. The defence looked really well organised and never gave the opposition a shot. Our midfield dominated the middle third creating loads of chances ⚽️ Ending in a 6-0 win 🙌

⭐️ Coaches player of the match was Ben Williams. Worked his socks off all game and was effective at both ends off the field.

Taking a well-deserved break from football training tonight, our U15 Allstars had an absolute blast paintballing! What a brilliant bunch of lads. They gave it their all, had a great laugh, and really bonded as a team. I’m sure a few of them will be nursing some bruises tomorrow, but it was worth every second! Proud of you all 🫶

Great to finish the season in style with a big win 4-2 ⚽️🌟⚽️

For 30 mins today the lads were unreal, and took the game away from a decent Starz team, who beat us 3-0 earlier in the season. Passing, composure, winning tackles and headers, and scoring 4 early goals. Exactly what we asked them to do, start fast, play good football, and finish the season beating every team in the division, unbeaten at home, and joint second place on 41 points. The season has been fantastic!

Good 4-0 win today, thats 12 wins in 17 league games this season, with just one game to play.

First half we got ourselves up in the game, 2nd half we were better, passed the ball and were more solid as a team. 4 goals and a clean sheet, and another day we might have scored more, so well done to the boys!

⭐️Parent's player of the match was Ben Russell, scoring two goals and always threatening in behind their defence. Two games ago I challenged him to get back in the goals, that's 3 in 2 games since then.

⭐️Coaches player of the match was Max Bevan, playing both left and right back today. He defended well, played on the front foot, and got forward really well, something I'm looking for from our full backs.

We kept a clean sheet against a team who score loads of goals, and we made plenty of chances and scored a couple of good goals. All of the lads played a massive part in us getting the win, players coming on making a real difference 👊

⭐️Parent's player of the match was Oscar, a true captain's performance, stepping in at centre back and having one of his best games of the season.

⭐️Coach's player of the match was Ollie, who drove us forwards, scored the second goal, wound up the opposition, and relentlessly chirped at the ref for 80 minutes.

We were not at our best today, and came up against a very strong Avery team, who just played with a bit more desire and conviction. So our winning run came to an end, now we have to react as we look ahead to a big game against Wordsley on Sunday if we want to secure promotion.

⚽️ Parents player of the match was Ollie Capewell. Ollie never stopped pushing, and found space between their midfield and defence numerous times as we tried to create opportunities.

⚽️ Coaches player was Jamie Hurst. Jamie worked really hard in midfield and I expect topped the passing stats on a tricky pitch.

⭐️Parents player of the match was Jake, scoring both our goals, worked really hard, and linked well between midfield and the forwards.

Excellent result again today from our boys, in a real scrap of a game against a tough team. The lads showed real grit and determination to get ahead and then hold on for the win. Six on the bounce ⚽️🥅⚽️

Parents player was Fin Patterson, who made a number of important saves and talked brilliantly throughout to organise the defensive line.

Coaches player of the match was a tough call, with lots of the lads playing well. But I went with Dylan Holliday for making some really important blocks, tackles, and headers to keep us in the lead.

Another good win today, 6 wins in 7 games, our only loss a really tight game against Trysull East. The lads are on fire, the attitude is brilliant, and the quality is improving every week. We've now got two massive games coming up, Trysull East then Avery. Win those two and we'll be right in the mix!!

The boys played a great game of football today. Fantastic to start the year with a 3-2 win. First half was possibly the best we've played this season, particularly going forward. Second half we had to dig in and fight, particularly a man down, the lads showed they can do that too.
